We had a wonderful time at this resort. The whole place was beautiful, I especially loved my room and the landscaping. The spa facilities and the pool were so nice; the food was good; and the ocean was calm and easy to swim in. The gym was well appointed and tennis courts were available. In fact, the place had a private feel, nothing felt overcrowded or scarce. The staff could not have been nicer- they accommodated all our needs. They even had it noted that we were non drinkers, and pointed out the mocktails on the menu. What a nice place.

New Four Seasons at Costa Palmas is a true gem for people looking for total relaxation, beautiful nature and long walks on prestige white sand beach. It is located on the shores of beautiful Sea of Cortez, away from busy Cabo. Service and food is exceptional! Perfect for romantic holiday and family vacation. Highly recommend restaurant Limon. It is incredible! Also if you wish to change a hairstyle or just experience world class cut - visit David at hair salon. He is an exceptional hairstylist, true master. What a surprise to have the best haircut in my life on beach vacation in remote Mexico!

As someone who visits Cabo several times a year for both work and pleasure, I've stayed at almost every luxury property on the tourist corridor. However, I never venture out to Costa Palmas - which I realize now was such a mistake! The drive is EASY! And the property - well worth it! I was so surprised - in a great way - by the rooms, the food, the spa. It's a true luxury resort - sprawling over a vast, amazingly swimmable beach (I took the best night swims in calm, warm water), SO many fantastic restaurants that it's impossible to get bored with the food even for a multi day stay, and a spa I could live in for a week (and I've been to many spas and used to grade them on practical exams to achieve Forbes 5 star ratings). The staff was gracious and well trained, the activity options are abundant, and the property is laid out in such a way that it never felt crowded. Highly recommend!

At this level of travel you can expect a well constructed, aesthetically pleasing property with attentive service. Resort Grounds: We stayed in a ground level partial ocean view room with a plunge pool, upgraded from the garden view, which honestly didn’t seem that different unless you’re actually staying at one of the prime beachfront spots. The rooms themselves are spacious with very comfortable beds, plentiful A/C and fan settings, and adjustable lighting controllable from bedside. A few quirks are that the toilets are relatively far from the bath & shower area, and the showers themselves are partially open, meaning that water could splash outside that designated area if you’re not careful. There were a few smudges on the curtains, but nothing major for a hotel after a few years of operations. The resort is mostly navigable on foot although buggy service can be requested in the staff is very willing to assist. If you venture to the edge of the property, you will see active construction as the master plan for Costa Palmas is far from complete. Some guests may find it distracting, but it did not really affect our stay. I suspect the vibe around the resort will be different in the coming years as the additional hotels are built which may be good or bad depending on your perspective. Food: there are several restaurants that offer different experiences and price range. We enjoyed Casa de Brasa (casual), Milo’s (fancier), and Mozza Baja, an Italian inspired pizza place that is technically not on the FS itself, but part of the greater Costa Palmas development accessible via water taxi. These are all nice waterfront, dining options. Zest/Limon gives a different garden environment, although the food there didn’t quite match up. Activities: The pools are beautiful and well maintained. The ocean front and East Cape pools are fitting for the cover of any travel magazine. The beachfront is pretty, and the water is calm but a little colder than expected considering the location on the sea of Cortez. We did take the kayaks out for a spin, and there appeared to be several other complementary activities to fill a day at the beach. Some of the reviews have mentioned there is not much to do culturally in the vicinity of the resort. Other activities can be arranged through the resort, but will be pricey. We did take an off-road tour up to the Sol de Mayo waterfall near Santiago which I would recommend as a half-day option if time permits. The gym has a standard set of weights, cardio, and a yoga room with complementary bottled water and fruit. There is a very nice lap pool, which is kept much cooler than the leisure pools so check that out if swimming is a big part of your fitness routine. I definitely recommend visiting the spa if it all possible. The general areas are very nice, my wife and I booked a couples treatment and got one of their private rooms to ourselves, which was absolutely stunning. Service: the staff deserves ample credit for making our stay comfortable. Many of them addressed our party by name without prompting throughout the stay, and food service whether at the restaurant or poolside was generally prompt, and we never felt rushed. The Four Seasons app makes it very easy to request additional housekeeping services beyond what is offered already. The best advice is to know what kind of vacation you’re looking for and coming to Cabo. If you’re comfortable with a self-contained experience, curated largely through the resort, FS at Costa Palmas is the place to go on the East Cape. Those seeking more natural beauty or a greater variety of activities may wish to split their time between the more populated cities, and Costa Palmas.
