I like the head laundry guy and the cook in the restaurant. This small, old hotel is clean and the water to shower is hot. It is up grading. Repainting walls and upgrading a few other things. It definately is worn but I repeat clean and the location can't be beat. It is close to the border, the shopping, the malls, downtown...acrossed from the Marriot and GolF Campestre and Mercado de Todos and 5/10 if you want to shop where the locals do.

If you need a cheap place to stay near the Caliente Hipodromo, this is the one! I stayed in room 6 for just 13usd! This is an online fare only, if you want to stay more nights and dealing directly with them, they will apply a 26usd fare, no matter if they have rooms available or not; so you need to rebook online. It is clean, the bed is soft, enough toiletries. Old Tv but many good channels. Very near to many interesting places. In a walking distance, you can find...Oxxos, banks, diners, supermarkets, a small plaza, cafe internet, and of course, the Caliente Hipodromo just across the street. On the other hand, it is noisy, old sheets, toiletries, and pillows, but clean. Staff is nice. It could be very hard to find, no clear sign to spot it; but just keep in mind that it is 50mts away from Plaza Campestre, in front of Real Inn Hotel.

Ok people let's get real...$13.00. I paid 15 but oh well. Funny but I too stayed in room 6 just last week was there for 5 days, paid under a $100.00 for a clean room with a fully functioning bathroom and a comfortable bed. No nightstands, lamps, or desks but you know what, I was comfortable, no bugs or stuff, it was a little noisy cause room close to street. The front desk lady and the two night time younger ladies where nice and helpful. Lastly do yourself a favor visit the cafeteria up stairs, great dinners and breakfast at a fantastic price. Had my coffee there every morning.
