“great”
Hotel del Carmen is where i always stay in Tuxtla. The staff is wonderful and the breakfasts are excellent. The location near the Marimba Park makes it fun.

“Peaceful, Safe and Friendly!”
Friendly, clean, safe, delicious breakfast! Staff was attentive, nice and always available. I would book it again. It is within walking distance to Marimba Park and public transportation. I would definitely book it again. Keep up the great work!

“Beautiful Hotel and Pleasant Experience”
The hotel is in a spot close to a lot of food and regular shops. The location and the decorations of the hotel really immersed us in the culture of Chiapas. The staff was friendly and helpful. The housekeeping staff was top notch. We really enjoyed our stay in Tuxtla Gutierrez!

We had planned to remain at Hotel del Carmen for 7 nights but the room shown was in no way representative of the few pictures available on their website (or on the Booking.com website). Hotel is situated conveniently in the center but it has some years behind it. There is wear and tear. Rooms are a bit small and have windows only to common area so the only air you get is thry air conditioning which means you don't have much fresh air. the beds are okay. breakfast is decent.
