“Great Stay in CDMX”

Staff and hotel were great,room was comfortable, minimalistic, the breakfast was basic but delicious, some variety would be nice though in that regard, Area was safe and illuminated with easy access to Metro through Ermita Station, a small fridge in the room would be nice.

This chain hotel is located in the most south part of the city, it is the only one in several miles. It is comfortable but has some major flaws that include lack of staff and lack of some basic amenities such as a restaurant or late room service. The hotel is overall clean but at certain points of the day it can get dirty and the issue here is that the cleaning staff does not pass more than once a day and I mean the common areas such as hallways. The rooms are well furnished but a very annoying thing is that the door allows the hallway light in during nighttime so there is never complete darkness (see photo) Also, the gym is very small and never has towels and when asked during the early morning the clerks always replied that there weren't any and that laundry staff arrived at 8 am, so no towels

Pros: the location is GREAT. You’re just in front of a big nice mall, “Plaza Satelite. Less than two blocks away there’s a Pizza Hut and if you like even better pizza, ask the front desk staff to obtain the phone number of Mamma’s Pizza. They have home delivery. And talking about the staff, they are quite nice and polite, very accommodating. And the room has a safe, good. In the “real” Satelite area, this is the only hotel. A good place for those on business trips. It’s austere, yes, but that’s normal in these kind of hotels. Cons: the hotel entrance is WEIRD. It does have parking (valet parking) but the building is shared by other businesses, so it’s packed. And it has a cost per night (2 dollars, not much but still). Once you get to the lobby, it’s ok. Rooms are quite small. And has no closet (you can hang your stuff in a mini tube of sorts; again, it’s an austere hotel, this is expected). One big no is that we came back around 3pm and the room wasn’t done. Nope. We complained and it was done immediately. Lastly, the breakfast included is baaad. We’ve stayed in other City Express and the breakfast is quite good, very simple obviously but good. Here, well, no options, no good bread, too simple. Anyway, that’s our opinion....
