“Wish I could give more than five stars”

Best hotel in Mexico City. Will always stay here when we visit. Clean, modern, friendly, and hospitable. Location is great for us as well.

This was the cheapest AAA 4 diamond hotel I could find in January. Other nice hotels in the Reforma and Downtown area were more expensive, and I was able to get the Brisas Club room for only 122 per night after taxes from Booking.com. It is true that you have to get a parking ticket just to come to the hotel, so best to get Uber from the street. However, there were bellhops to assist with luggage. Upon check-in, I was given a room on the 5th floor, which was the Brisas Club level. The room was spacious and modern. The bed was large and comfortable. The TV was a smart TV from LG and had ample cable channels, but most in Spanish. It had Chromecast built in, so I was able to cast my phone on the TV. There was a nice work desk and chair. There was a closet to store my clothes. There was a coffee maker with higher quality organic coffee, but I didn't use it. I didn't use the fridge either, but did utilize the safe. The closet had bath robes and shoes for the luxury feel. Lighting was controlled by buttons, and was supposed to be controlled by Alexa and the Brisas app, but it didn't work for me. The AC was motion detected, but stayed in the right 72F temperature for me. The bathroom was upscale with separate doors for the toilet and shower. Everything was clean and spacious. The sink was large and the water pressure was good. The shower is heavenly rainfall with the right pressure. No issues with changing the water temperature either. There was hand/body wash, lotion, shampoo, and conditioner from an upscale Australian salon company called Eleven. They all smelled pretty nice. The lobby looked minimalist, but upscale and had plenty of chairs to relax. It has a business feel, with the meeting rooms on the bottom floor. The was a business center, but the computers didn't seem to work. At least you can connect to WiFi for free with your device. The pool is on the rooftop, and looks like a small lap pool. There were jacuzzis too. The fitness center was on the lowest floor and had ample equipment. The yoga room was a nice touch and you can relax on an exercise ball to new age music. You have to go through the main restaurant to access those areas. The main restaurant served pretty good food at reasonable prices. Breakfast was included for the Brisas Club, and it was a nice buffet. I took advantage of the omelette station, which was cooked to order. Fresh pastries, fruits, juices, cereals, yogurts, and other American/Mexican dishes were offered too. The coffee and juices were enjoyable. For dinner, the enchiladas were good for the price. However, the Rooftop Garden was more enjoyable, with gorgeous views of the city. Heat lamps were provided during the cold weather. 2 drinks were included per day for Brisas Club, which were strong enough and tasted good. There are other restaurants nearby the hotel too. Speaking of Brisas Club, I was expecting a lounge, but there wasn't one. Instead, it's just a small floor with basic snacks (like chips, cookies, popcorn) in the elevator lobby. The hors d'oeuvres was only 1 hot food and 1 cold food item from the restaurant. The only non alcoholic drink was just fruit infused water. No sodas, canned juices, or even water bottles. At least you get one large water bottle in your room per day. The only saving grace was the included breakfast and 2 alcoholic drinks mentioned. The service was very good and attentive when needed. There is a concierge desk next to the elevator, and they were helpful in finding good restaurants and transportation. Valet parking and bellhops were available too. This is essential for a 4 diamond service. They also surprised me with balloons, mezcal, and cake during my birthday. Overall, with the upscale and high tech rooms, nice public amenities, and very good service, this just meets the 4 diamond AAA quality. I wish Uber could meet directly at the hotel, and the Brisas Club had an actual lounge, but I still had an upscale experience at a more affordable price. I will definitely stay here again if the price is right, but may just choose the regular room rates instead of Brisas Club. Overall: A-

“Great stay”

Friendly staff, clean and modern hotel. I spend 4 nights during my recent travel and the hotel was quiet, clean and every staff member worked seamlessly to offer a great guest experience. Located in a great area too. Room size was large with high ceilings and amenities were great. 😊

The hotel is really good. Obviously location is a subject, once it is far from the touristic region, but if it makes sense to your plans, the hotel is an amazing choice. I had to ask for my room to be cleaned up, but the staff was very nice and everything was sollved.
