Good choice if you've got business in Tlalpan Centro. Pretty easy walking distance to my daily meetings. Five days and never felt the need to call a taxi. Rooms spacious and comfortable, staff agreeable and helpful. It certainly helps if you speak some Spanish. Wi fi signal weak in rooms, but I carry a signal adaptor with me I got on Amazon for $20 and that takes care of that problem. Hotel has a good Italian restaurant attached. Starbucks and McDonald's are across the (very busy) street.

“Better-than-expected hotel for the price”

We chose this hotel because it is close to family. We got a Junior Suite: huge room with a large jacuzzi (we didn't use it), shower, 2 wash basins. Very clean, impeccable bed linens/towels. The rooms are not heated (common in Mexico City) so bring heavy bedclothes and sweaters in winter. We asked for an extra blanket, it helped. Hard mattress. All rooms are on Insurgentes, a rather noisy avenue, but not a problem with earplugs. Wi-fi is iffy, it worked well only in one corner of the room. The free breakfast is at the restaurant next door: weak coffee, toast, butter, jam and fresh orange juice. The breakfast menu is not expensive if one wants a more substantial meal. The Superama supermarket across the street is very convenient, a Starbucks is down the street. Staff is helpful. For the price, it's perfectly functional, pleasant, and good value. We would stay there again.

“Decent Hotel and good prices”

Stayed 4 nights in Nov 2012, Hotel was selected by clients I was visiting. Room was big and clean, staff were very helpful. Bed was hard and probably won't suite if you like a soft mattress. I slept very well. Bathroom was average. My room looked out onto the main street which was noisy until around 1.00am. Restaurant next to hotel which I didn't eat at but looked good. Starbucks across the avenue and about 200yds down the hill made the best latte I've tasted and good breakfast sandwiches. Could not control the room temperature as all the rooms are on a central system. Wednesday nights (14th November) earthquake (6.2) at 3.20am was a bonus but no damage to the hotel or interuption of services. I paid $58.40 (US)/night which was excellent value. I will go back.

“Decent and fairly clean place at a good price”

This is a big hotel but had very few guests there this month. The rooms are huge but dated, housekeeping and front desk did a good job. A good Tlalpan Location,Free Wi-Fi and a mediocre restaurant are the high lights . ROAD NOISE And No AC are THE DOWNSIDE!
