Tenía mis dudas sobre el hotel por algunos comentarios negativos sobre la comida y las instalaciones. Pensé que no me iba a gustar mucho… ¡pero me sorprendió gratamente! Comida y servicios Probé la cena buffet y estaba bastante rica. La pizza también deliciosa, solo considera que si es domingo por la tarde o entre semana, puede tardar bastante 40 minutos en estar lista porque prenden el horno de leña hasta que hay un pedido. Habitaciones Las habitaciones son amplias, limpias y cuentan con aire acondicionado. Los colchones los califico con un 8/10, descansé muy bien. Eso sí, la tina del baño no tenía trampa (se veía el drenaje) y el agua salía con poca presión, así que no la usé porque tomaría mucho tiempo llenarla. Creo que en esa parte falta un poco de mantenimiento y limpieza. Atención del personal Todo el personal fue muy amable, especialmente los meseros y el bell boy. En recepción fueron atentos, aunque no excesivamente cálidos. Me hubiera gustado que me explicaran todo lo que ofrece el hotel, como horarios o actividades. Un tríptico o guía informativa sería muy útil. Entretenimiento y extras El chico que canta en las noches tiene mucho carisma, fue un plus para la experiencia. También hay un show los sábados. La alberca no es enorme, pero es funcional y el agua me tocó tibia, ideal considerando el calor que hacía. Además, el hotel cuenta con cancha de tenis, golf y sauna, aunque no los utilicé. Ubicación y precio No está cerca del centro (el taxi cuesta entre 80 y 100 pesos), pero las vistas panorámicas y la tranquilidad hacen que valga totalmente la pena. Si buscas algo pegado al centro, este hotel no es para ti. Pero si quieres descansar lejos del bullicio, es ideal. La relación calidad-precio me pareció muy buena. Claro, no es un hotel 5 estrellas de lujo, pero tampoco pagas $10,000 la noche. Por lo que ofrece, está muy bien. En resumen Me gustó mucho la experiencia. A pesar de los detalles, sin duda volvería. Solo mejoraría algunos puntos de información al cliente y mantenimiento en los baños, pero en general es un lugar que recomiendo. I honestly thought I wouldn’t like it much… but I was pleasantly surprised! Food & Services I tried the buffet dinner and it was actually quite tasty. The pizza was also delicious — just keep in mind that on Sunday afternoons or weekdays, it might take a while since they wait to light the wood-fired oven until there are one order. Rooms Rooms are spacious, clean, and have air conditioning. I’d rate the mattresses 8/10 — I slept really well. However, the bathtub didn’t have a trap (the drain was exposed) and the water pressure was very low, so I didn’t use it since it would’ve taken forever to fill. That part could definitely use some maintenance and cleaning. Staff Attention Staff was very kind overall — especially the waiters and bell boy. Reception was polite, though not overly warm. I would’ve appreciated more information about the hotel’s facilities and schedules. A welcome brochure or guide would be helpful. Entertainment & Extras There’s a singer at night who was charming and added a nice touch to the atmosphere. There’s also a Saturday night show. The pool isn’t huge but functional; I found the water pleasantly warm, which was perfect given the heat. The hotel also offers tennis courts, golf, and a sauna — I didn’t use them, but they’re available. Location & Price The hotel isn’t close to the town center (a taxi costs around 80 to 100 pesos), but the views and peacefulness make it totally worth it. If you’re looking for something right in the center, this isn’t the place. But if you want to relax away from the noise, it’s perfect. The value for the price is excellent. It’s not a luxury 5-star hotel, but it doesn’t pretend to be — and you’re not paying $500 USD a night either. For what it offers, it’s well worth it. Final Thoughts I really enjoyed the experience. Despite a few details that could be improved (bathroom maintenance and clearer info for guests), I’d absolutely stay here again and do recommend it.
