Great place to stay. The food was great and the shows were amazing. I love the connecting location, Niru. The only drawback is that the exclusive dinner that one has to reserve at 0900 hours in the morning is only open a few nights a week and the dress code is pretty strict. We were not able to participate because of the restrictions. Oh and no kids were allowed.

Just returned from a 1 week trip to the Binniguenda Huatulco. I have many nice things to say about the staff and hotel. Though the hotel was built in the 80s it is kept in good shape though showing its age in places ( like many hotels in the area) Grounds are well kept and clean. Rooms ,though basic are clean and more than enough since we literally only used them to clean up and sleep. Beds were comfortable,AC though a bit noisy worked well. Only criticism was the showers. Poorly designed and if not careful can cause a minor flood in the bathroom. Food is really about personal taste TBH. Since a vast majority of the guests are domestic Mexican tourists the food is geared towards them.If you are expecting Canadian/American style food you might be disappointed. Why you would come to Mexico and complain about not having pizza and hamburgers for dinner is beyond me. It can get repetitive but we always found something to eat and had 2 great meals outdid the hotel to change it up. Getting around the 7:30 dinner start was a bit of an adjustment but I read that’s the norm in Mexico as there big meal is around lunchtime. Niru Beach Club is one of the two reasons we came back to the Binniguenda. Beautiful infinity pool and grounds. Again kept clean and tidy. It can get busy during an afternoon or around the weekends but it you get there around lunchtime there are loungers/chairs to be found. Beach area is nice with umbrellas, loungers and hammocks. Santa Cruz beach is great for swimming but can get very busy on weekend afternoons so be aware. Lots of Mexican families coming down to enjoy the beach with food and drinks. Really nice vibe though. So it was never an issue with loud music or drunk idiots like at some places. The Staff is what really makes this special. Sonia, Saul, Lorenzo and Ana (I think at Niru) were always so sweet and helpful. But a special shout out to Daniel (Bartender at Niru) and Sylvia (Egg Station for breakfast) are both gems and were wonderful not just this stay but last year as well. If you’re looking for a simple reasonably priced All Inclusive you can’t go wrong with this place.

“Very good hotel”

Very nice hotel. Beach club included is very nice. Comes with beach ships well. Nice to walk out your door and walk to town and shopping and not have to rely on taxis

The rooms were clean and well kept. The food was the best you can do with a hot-table buffet - that's not a complaint, just the reality. The negatives for me were that there were tables and chairs 3 feet outside my bedroom window where people would bring their dinners to eat. However, since most people aren't in their room during meal times that will be of little consequence to anyone else. I had stayed at the Binni some years ago for just a night I think, and it's gotten huge since then and with the big beach club across the road there's lots of coming and going. The other guests seemed pretty laid back and friendly. And there were a lot of them. The place almost has the air of a country fair - lots of family bustle and busyness as they go from one activity to the next. I'd say it's a friendly, fun place to use as your base for a Huatulco vacation. One other thing I wanted to mention, in case anyone is into photography, for some unknown reason the architect put a wine window in one side of the outer wall behind the front office, It's surrounded by gnarly mango trees, is over a broken cement sidewalk and has one light on it at night. It is one of the most atmospheric things I've ever seen in the area and I've been to Tangolunda (does anyone else remember how often they've changed the spelling of that area?) many, many times. I would have loved to get some good shots but was unfortunately in a wheelchair so not mobile enough to get up and down and arrang "nature" to get the shot I'd have liked.
