Juan our pool attendant was amazing … so attentive -every day he took care anticipating our asks… he was professional , personable, and brought joy to our entire party. Manuel helped us move umbrellas to make sure we stayed protected. Our room was impeccable with nightly turn down Service. We were disappointed that you could not bring Pizza out to the pool from the restaurant. Service at the Italian restaurant was mediocre… Every other restaurant was amazing. our favorite was the steakhouse. The French onion soup had this amazing pop over top. My husband golfed and said it was a great course.

My wife and I chose Atelier Playa Mujeres to celebrate our anniversary, and it was the perfect adults-only getaway. We live in California, so Cancún was close enough for a quick vacation, and this resort exceeded our expectations in so many ways. Overall, our trip was incredible thanks to the beautiful accommodations, amazing location, and outstanding staff. I do want to mention one area that could be improved: the reception experience. We took a red-eye flight and arrived early. Our room wasn’t ready yet, which we completely understood. The front desk took our information and told us they would text us when our room was available. Unfortunately, one digit of our phone number was entered incorrectly, so we never received the message. We spent hours waiting in the lobby, within eyesight of the reception desk the entire time. While it was an honest mistake, I think a five-star resort should be a bit more aware of guests who are clearly waiting to check into their rooms. That said, the staff was always friendly and polite. Once we got into our room, everything changed for the better. We stayed in Building #2, which I highly recommend because the location was perfect. Our room overlooked the ocean and pool area, and the view was beautiful. We were given a professional tour of the room, which was a great touch. Everything was spotless, and the room was fully stocked with snacks, beverages, and alcoholic drinks in the minibar. The only other minor disappointment was the minibar service. For the first two days, we had to call to have our Nespresso coffee pods replenished, and the minibar wasn’t restocked until we requested it. It wasn’t a huge issue, but it’s something I would expect to happen automatically at a luxury resort. Now for the highlight of our trip—the entertainment team! My wife and I came for fitness, wellness, authentic Mexican cuisine, and relaxing in the sun, but the entertainment staff truly made our vacation unforgettable. We spent our days playing pool volleyball, water aerobics, ping pong, and beach volleyball. Their enthusiasm was contagious, and they encouraged everyone to participate while making every activity fun. A special thank you to Julio, Carlos, Ernesto, and Elian. They were genuinely welcoming, energetic, and incredibly kind throughout our stay. I think I played ping pong for three straight days because of them! Their passion for what they do made us feel like more than just guests. The moment that meant the most came during our last 15 minutes at the resort. The entire entertainment team came over to personally thank us before we left. It was such a thoughtful gesture, and we left feeling truly appreciated. It was the perfect ending to an amazing vacation. And I can’t forget the food—it was absolutely incredible! Every meal was delicious, and there was so much variety that we looked forward to every dining experience. This was my fourth trip to Cancún, and without question, Atelier Playa Mujeres has become our favorite resort. Despite a couple of small service issues, our overall experience was a 10/10. We’ll definitely be back and will choose Atelier Playa Mujeres every time we visit Cancún.

My husband & I were celebrating our 23rd wedding anniversary & chose Atelier. Pros: The room was gorgeous, spacious & comfortable. The room was nice & cold, the bed was comfortable, & the black out curtains meant business. Our room was always stocked w snacks & drinks & housekeeping was on top of it. The gym was awesome with top-notch equipment. I took a few classes with Olga & she was great. I consider myself to be pretty fit & she worked me! The spa was serene. The deep tissue massage was the best one I’ve ever had & I get a lot of massages. The hydrotherapy before was a nice edition as well. If you’re not part of Inspira, you have access to two pools; the main pool & the “relaxing” pool. Both were nice & I appreciated that all lounge chairs had cushions & umbrellas. I preferred the beach & found it to be more relaxing, though. There is seaweed in the water, but it didn’t deter me from enjoying the ocean. We did not have a bad meal or drink! The food was fantastic. Cons: The pool was pretty busy & it was sometimes difficult to find a spot. The water was so warm it wasn’t refreshing. People would also assault me w their poor taste in music by bringing their own speakers w/o headphones to the pool & beach. That was annoying. Some guys in the gym didn’t wear shirts; gross. During the hydrotherapy portion of the spa, people were speaking very loudly. It was hard to relax. These are all minor & the resort made up for these deficits in other ways. We’d definitely return.
