What the word luxury was described for. When you are picked up by the town car at the airport, the luxury begins with top service and friendliness. When you walk into the resort reception, you are greeeted with a “welcome home” and a glass of Prosecco. And from then on, it does feel like you’re at home; if home is a millionaire lifestyle with people waiting on you hand and foot. The room is sensational, with amazing luxury, great views and a jacuzzi to boot. Room service is swift, excellent standard and salted away without you noticing once you’re done. The resort takes “all inclusive” to a new level. High quality restaurants, an amazing cocktail bar, smoothie bar and an early morning coffee on the square makes a perfect food and drink experience. The pools are amazing - they differ from the “party pool” where the aqua aerobics leads the way to the lazy river where you drift sleepily on a supplied waterbed, looking at Amazonian wildlife with geckos and humming birds a plenty. The local town is no great shakes but take a walk to the lagoon and experience te thrill of being hunted by a crocodile. Entertainment is good with the magic show a highlight but you are not pressed to go and watch and pool tables, table fussball and even space invaders are all throw in for free. Smoothies are readily available as are cocktails at the poolside bars and don’t miss the fresh cut coconuts offered in mid afternoon at the poolside bars - where you can fill them with pineapple juice, pins colada or vodka, depending on your mood You won’t regret the spend - this is decadence at its best and all in the non-stop sunshine.

The resort was above our expectations! Would highly recommend! The staff makes you feel very pampered. All restaurants were delicious! Highly recommend the spa.

Out of all the all-inclusives I’ve tried this was the best. The staff was friendly, very knowledgeable, and they provided great service. We loved the activities, which didn’t feel stale or forced. Out of all the all-inclusives I’ve tried this was the best. The staff was friendly, very knowledgeable, and they provided great service. We loved the activities, which didn’t feel stale or forced. The activities team did a great job interacting, we love Katia, Angel, and Alexcis. Oscar at the Sports Bar and Eduardo at the Pool Bar were at the top of their game, making handling a high volume look easy. Overall the meals were very good, some excellent dishes and only a few mediocre ones. The food was pretty solid and the service standard was high, Remi at Chez Isabelle was the best. We were not impressed with the Excellence Club experience or restaurant Magna. There was a trainee working the bar for the night we went and they didn’t know any of the signature cocktails and put sparking water in our old fashioned. The food at Magna was not only grossly under seasoned, the king crab pasta was filled with imitation crab. The tomahawk steak was not seasoned at all and fat was not rendered properly. It was highly disappointing for what was supposed to be a luxury experience. I hope that this was a product of it being offseason, or maybe the restaurant was over hyped. The other restaurants made up for it, our second dinner after Magna was great. The beach and pools were great, we enjoyed the room, and the grounds were pretty without being pretentious. The guests were really fun and the staff set a great tone. The resort offered a good balance of being fun and lively without it being too wild.
