“Clean but basic”
We stayed here on our drive going south to puerto Vallarta. It’s not too far off the highway into town center so you get get back on the highway in a few minutes. Not a fancy place but the room we had was clean and simple. Pet friendly, secure parking. Restaurant onsite. Food was just ok.

“Cat friendly ”
This is our 4th hotel on our journey to Puerto Vallarta. Los Mochis is a huge agricultural area and the names Dow and Monsanto made me nervous. Absolutely no reflection on the hotel. “Traveler's Rest with Pets”
El Dorado is a good hotel for the weary traveler. Better than average, but not quite very good. Excellent secured parking, an in-house restaurant (no review), and easy access from and departure to the autopista. They like pets.
