“Exploring Catemaco and the Reserva Ecologica”
We met with a friend to spend time in Catemaco. The rooms were clean and spacious, with AC but with no view whatsoever as the window is a slit at the top of the wall. “Adequate Stay in Catemaco”
Needed a couple nights in a hotel in Catemaco so decided to give this one a try. I’d say a 3 star hotel, nothing fancy but adequate for sleeping. AC worked just fine. Staff was friendly. “Hotel Playa. Cristal - Great stay”
Stayed again for the 4th time. Location is secure, close to Malecon and price was reasonable. During all of our stays there has been hot water, internet and good food. Very friendly staff. Thanks again!

“The noise”
I stayed here on December 16th a Sunday evening in the rear of the hotel. There is a bar behind the hotel on the street that played music until 2am. Then there bus started up to depart the band and that was noisy. You would think that on a Sunday that people would go to bed early for Monday morning… more
