This hotel is quite peculiar. The staff that works there is very helpful and friendly. The hotel is located in the center of the city, about 10 minutes walk from the central park and the cathedral. The area where the hotel is located is quite bustling and with a lot of urban movement of the inhabitants. The hotel has two parking lots, one next to the hotel where you get the parking ticket and at the hotel reception you can hand it in so they can give you the QR code in exchange in order to get out with your car (ATTENTION: once the QR code is activated, it is only valid for 5 minutes. I recommend loading the car first and if you are traveling with children, leave them sitting in the car with an adult and then go to the reception to exchange the ticket for the QR code). In the evening, the shadow of the hotel building/the highest wall protects the cars from the sun quite well and if you leave early in the morning, especially before 9:00 am, the car will be cool. On the street where the hotel is located there are several bus stops that make it difficult to easily see the second parking lot of the hotel, which has a closed door and you have to ring the bell (apart from driving the car to the entrance, which requires crossing the street, blocking the way for other vehicles). If you manage to enter this parking lot, it is a covered parking lot with direct access to the hotel. The hotel itself is a clean hotel that does not offer anything exceptional. It is sufficient for those looking for affordable accommodation, without any luxuries, and who need a place to sleep and go out the next day to visit Merida or its surroundings. The hotel is quite busy, especially with local travelers, entire families, groups, and even sports teams (amateurs), which makes it noisy, especially in the mornings when families or entire groups get ready to leave early in the morning. The rooms vary from one another, it is advisable to see the room first before accepting it. The rooms have air conditioning and a fan. Bottled water is not provided to guests (instead, as a mitigating factor, there are free ice cubes available to guests 24 hours a day for free). The pool is clean, but can fill up at certain times of the day. Any request that is made is attended to promptly; during our stay we were quickly attended when we needed help with a window, door or forgotten key in the bedroom. Our children enjoyed the pool and were able to sleep peacefully. The streets in the center of Merida and especially the ones around the hotel can fill with water if it rains heavily, which increases the risk of being splashed over by a vehicle when walking down the street to the hotel or leaving the hotel. The breakfast (in our case, included) is quite sober, it is not a luxury, but it is enough for those who want to have it. Overall, for us, the hotel served its purpose of offering us a clean bed and a clean room to sleep in after several days visiting Merida and its surroundings. Don't expect any luxury.

The man in the reception is nice and friendly. 2. The staff for breakfast is also friendly. 3. Free parking for the guests. 4. Free wifi and fast. 5. They have pool but under maintenance. 6. Entrance accessible for wheelchair. 7. The location is good. It is close to the city center. 8. Local markets are nearby by walking distance. 9. Breakfast included with limited options. Omelette with pasta or black feijão, juice, coffee, tea, bread, banana. It is the same everyday. 10. The room is fine. TV and AC are working perfectly. Cons: 1. Bathroom needs to get remodeled. The hot water is not working. Gladly the weather is hot, so the water is not so cold. It took a bit longer for the water to enter to the hole. 2. We saw a cockroach when we just arrived. It was inside the drawer (we did this because we read the previous review). You need to check your drawer upon your arrival to the room. On the next day, the cockroach is still on the wall 3. We did not ask the housekeeper to clean our room but yes, it was clean after we walked in the morning. They must provide a paper notification because we don't want someone entered to our room without our permission. 4. They must change the linen because it looks old. 5. The cleanliness if the bathroom and bed can be improved in the future.
