My daughter, granddaughter and I had the best time staying at Hotel Conte! The hotel is beautiful and in a dream-like location, right next to the sea. We stayed in a luxurious villa with an outdoor pool close to the main building. The service was impeccable and also at their restaurant - Restaurant Conte, on the waterfront. After trying out a few other places, we ended up eating at Restaurant Conte every evening. The seafood dishes were out of this world, and it was so relaxing dining with a stunning view of the bay and mountains. A special thank you to the Dining Area Manager, Davor, who made our last night at the restaurant unforgettable, making us all feel like special guests and recommending dishes that we loved. The oysters, fried scallops, monkfish risotto and octopus were so fresh and delicious, and my granddaughter loved the cake and ice cream dessert. If you're visiting Perast, don't look any further - this is the place to be!

We had an initial problem with our room booking, however, Vikas the hotel supervisor listened and made arrangements to resolve it quickly. He could not have been more friendly, helpful or efficient. We are well travelled and he stands out as one of the best front of house hotel managers we have come across. The room we stayed was wonderful in every respect. We had a side sea view. The facilities and decor were excellent. The air con was good and the cleanliness was outstanding. The hotel restaurant has a good reputation for food and rightly so. The fish we ordered was well seasoned, a good portion size and delicious. The breakfast buffet excellent and has many choices. The hotel pool tucked away up the hillside. it has shade and wonderful views of the sea and the mountains. It’s a lovely escape spot to enjoy a good book and chill from the other tourist traffic in Perast. Thankyou Hotel Conte for making our holiday a wonderful experience. Good tips are. 1. Use a water taxi from Tivat airport to the hotel. Such a stylish exhilarating treat through stunning mountain scenery. 2. Visit the cable car at Kotor. One of the best in the world for views and facilities. Sunset is best for photos.

Plus: Quite rooms, spacious terras, nice little swimming pool. Excellent restaurant Conte, friendly staff. Transport of luggage with golf cart to the car parking area. Minus: Entrance to the building via the fire brigade, with a lot of stairs, no problem for us but difficult for less mobile guests… more

Minus: Entrance to the building via the fire brigade, with a lot of stairs, no problem for us but difficult for less mobile guests. Rooms can use some upgrade / refurbishment for the price. Breakfast was a bit modest, little daily variation.

A lovely boutique hotel, very charming and Perast is incredibly beautiful. PRO'S - cute, charming hotel, the food in the restaurant was lovely, we had lunch there once. - we got room 44 away from reception, and it was really large and comfortable, id recommend this room (no ses view though) - Ed, Mia, Balca and Addis made our stay delightful. Ed the front office manager had impeccable customer service, thank you for all your help. - breakfast was nice, but a bit basic - lived that perast was closed off to cars on our visit CON'S - The hotel has rooms on different parts of perast, some of the rooms like ours were labelled as a different hotel name but 'managed by Hotel Conte' which seemed a bit weird... but our room was nice and its still within walking distance to reception and restaurant - very inconsistent staff friendliness or helpfulness. The ones we found more difficult at breakfast eg saying toasting our bread will take half an hour, or refusing to give a bit of fresh orange juice to our toddler... - breakfast was pretty much self serve for everything, which made it sooo hard with a toddler... none of the staff ever offered to help us. - We encountered an issue with the hot water running out mid shower with our toddler... and the water was ice cold. Ed immediately got us a solution (had to complete her shower in a different, vacant room). We truly appreciated the fast thinking and solution. - everything in the room was too low-level, including kettles, glasses, cups etc... so it seemed a little dangerous with our toddler at times.... we could have done with higher cabinets to keep things out of reach. - the pool is up on the hill after quite a few staircases - so just be mindful if you want to access it - no gym or fitness centre :-( Overall - highly recommended and we would stay here again for sure.
