We had booked the hotel as a base for our 5 day golfing extravaganza at 4 local courses in and around Marrakesh. It was a very good choice. I’m not a fan of all inclusive hotels but this one was outstanding. The check in was easy, the rooms were very comfortable, the food was outstanding, the activities were great (we used the Petanque a few times), the pools and outside catering were fine. My main takeaway was how many very efficient staff there were generally cleaning and looking after the hotel and the guests. Many other hotel chains could learn from this approach. Overall a great experience and we will be back next year I think to do it all again.

Brilliant and so glad we came here. We were celebrating 25 years of marriage and wanted somewhere special for us and our adult daughters and we’re not disappointed. Yes, the food and drink options are excellent, there are plenty of sun loungers, the activities are good and the free shuttle bus very useful but it is the staff who make it truly special. Everyone is so friendly. We would love to return!

Only had a long weekend over easter here, and other than the evening entertainment, had a great time. All the staff we encountered were friendly and welcoming, especially the bar staff/waiters at the nearest bar to reception. They always found time for a quick chat. Check in was efficient, and despite our room not being ready on arrival, by the time we had a couple of drinks and lunch it was. The room itself was quite basic, but spacious and clean. Same goes with the bathroom. Gardens are immaculate and lovely to walk around. We spent our days at the adults only pool. The bar area was being renovated and will be a nice addition when done. Always easy to get a bed by this pool, but the family pool had guests down early to get there spot. Not many beds left by 9am Food throughout our stay was excellent with plenty of choice. Marrakech restaurant was also very good, we both had the beef dish as the main course and it was lovely. Only let down in my opinion was the evening/night time entertainment. It was okay when it started by the bar area with the quizzes and had a good singer down there on the Saturday evening, but when it moved inside and started at 9:45pm was again in my opinion dreadful. It was a different theme every night, but basically 30minutes of Dance. Same dancers every night. I'm not saying the first time was bad or they were poor dancers, but i was bored on night 2 and grateful we were only there for 3 nights. & nights of it and this review would of been much poorer. There poor entertainment would unfortunately be the reason i wouldn't re visit. Shame because the rest was very good and excellent value for money.

I have to admit, when we first arrived, we felt a little underwhelmed. This was mainly because the interconnecting rooms we had been promised weren’t available. The corridors leading to the rooms were also quite dark and gloomy, with some broken tiles and light fittings, and the bathrooms felt tired and outdated. However, as the days went on, the hotel really grew on us—and by the end of our stay, we absolutely loved it! The grounds are beautiful, especially when they’re lit up at night. The food was another highlight. I’m not usually a fan of buffets, but I never got bored of the selection. There was always a great variety of fresh, hot dishes, including plenty of healthy options as well as kid-friendly choices like homemade pizza and regular BBQs at lunch and dinner. The rooms themselves are perfectly adequate, with lots of storage space and very comfortable beds (definitely ask for softer pillows if needed). That said, they could use a bit of TLC—some of the balcony airers were broken, for example—and, as mentioned, the bathrooms are quite dated. On the plus side, the shower was very good. The staff work incredibly hard to keep the pools and grounds spotless and well maintained. There are quite a few cats around the property, but they’re clearly well cared for and very well behaved—the kittens are especially adorable! The shuttle service to and from town was excellent, with plenty of departure times, and we always felt safe using it (unlike some of the taxis, which could feel a bit intimidating). There’s also plenty to do throughout the day, plus evening entertainment. Facilities like table tennis, boules, and a volleyball court are all free to use and set in a lovely environment. We also arranged an airport transfer directly with the hotel via email, which worked perfectly—our driver was waiting for us on arrival, and the cost was similar to a taxi. Other handy touches include an ATM in the lobby (with no commission) and a couple of small shops selling souvenirs and cigarettes. There isn’t really anything within walking distance, but there is a taxi rank just outside the main gates. A special thank you to Mohamed, the bellboy, who went out of his way to make our stay extra special, and to Zakaria for resolving the room mix-up. Overall, it turned out to be a great stay, and we would definitely return if we visit Marrakesh again!
