“Birthday Holiday”

We came to celebrate my sisters 40th birthday and Fuhad went above and beyond to make it special. We had champagne and birthday cake sent to the room as a special surprise. The pool is gorgeous & the staff are very friendly.

The food was delicious, everywhere was clean and the entertainment staff were a lot of fun! We have had a wonderful 7 days in Morocco and will most certainly be back soon to say at Kezni Club Medina

We stayed here for 10 nights as a family of four with children aged 10 and 8. Overall, we had a good holiday and enjoyed our stay, but there were some areas that would prevent us from returning. The hotel grounds are beautiful, well maintained, and the pool area is excellent. The main pool is modern, a great temperature, and was one of the highlights of the holiday. Our children also loved the water slides and spent hours on them every day. The rooms are spacious and a nice blend of modern and traditional design. We had a terrace room, although the outdoor space could have been a little better. Unfortunately, the air conditioning didn’t work for the first two nights, which made sleeping uncomfortable. However, the hotel moved us to another room and the issue was resolved quickly. The staff throughout the hotel were friendly, helpful, and welcoming, which really added to the overall experience. The biggest disappointment for me was the food. We’ve stayed in many all-inclusive hotels and, compared to others, we found the buffet below average. There wasn’t a huge amount of variety and, for meat eaters in particular, the choice was often limited. The food tended to be quite traditional, which may suit some guests, but there wasn’t much aimed at children. Our daughter ended up eating chips for much of the holiday. That said, the three à la carte restaurants were much better. Gusto, the Italian restaurant, was by far our favourite and we ate there three times during our stay. The food was excellent and the wine and drinks, although not included, were reasonably priced. The Spanish restaurant was quite fish-focused but worth trying if fish is your thing, while the Moroccan restaurant was a great cultural experience. One thing worth mentioning is the number of wasps and flying insects around the pool area, especially around the soft drinks. They were harmless, but there were a lot of them so if you don’t like bugs, be weary. The gym was surprisingly good and well equipped. The hotel is also in a convenient location, only around 15 minutes from the airport. We used the free shuttle bus into Marrakech one day, although it dropped us further away from the souks than we expected, and we ended up wandering around for an hour before getting a taxi back. If you are planning a trip to the markets, do some research beforehand, where to go, what to see etc., probably something we didn’t t do enough of if I’m honest. During our stay we also booked a desert excursion through Get Your Guide, which included quad biking, a camel ride, a meal, and entertainment. It was fantastic value and one of the highlights of our trip. Overall, we enjoyed our holiday and there are plenty of positives about this hotel. If you can get a good deal, I would recommend it. However, the food for me wasn’t at the standard we’ve come to expect from an all-inclusive resort, and for that reason we probably wouldn’t return.
