This is really a 4.5/5 review, but we did have to knock something off for the 2 issues we experienced. First off, the staff are amazing, everyone from the reception team, entertainment team, bar staff, restaurant team and the housekeeping team are brilliant, so friendly, happy to help with anything, nothing is too much trouble, so thank you to you all, we will definitely be back in the coming years. The 2 issues I need to highlight relate to the first room we were allocated (108) the room is in the first Riad, it's a shady room in the corner, Initially this worked perfectly for us, but in going into the room there were so many bugs everywhere, almost like someone left the light on with the door open overnight! We don't like to moan, so we cleared them all out and unpacked, we then had our first night sleeping, at 07.30 we were woken up by all of the housekeeping team starting work, the corner near that room is evidently the area where they gather and start work from, so it was very noisy (no complaints against the staff, they can't be expected to tip toe round or not talk to eachother, it's just inconveniently situated next to a guests room) that was the point we raised the issues with reception, and they were brilliant, arranged for a new room for us, and we moved that afternoon. Just be aware if you like to sleep later than 07.30 then there may be some noise in that Riad. The 2nd issue, which may be more of a problem for people, is the meat/seafood hiding in salads with no clear labels, I'm a vegetarian, my wife isn't, and on at least 3 occasions, despite having a thorough look before serving myself, I ended up with salad dishes that had meat/seafood mixed very well into them.... They do have a vegetarian corner at lunch, with 2 specific dishes, but the salad bar can be hit and miss with meat and seafood in them, so just be extra cautious. The food at lunch was generally more varied than dinner, so we had a proper meal at lunch, then dinner was more 'snacky', breakfast is very good too. The overall amenities are superb, clean and tidy, pool areas and all public spaces are meticulously clean, and the gardens are beautifully maintained. The gym is well equipped and the spa is lovely. The pool bar has lots of wasps, they don't sting and are just after the sweet drinks, if you plan on sitting in that area then it may be worth taking a 300/500ml sealed drinks cup, this keeps them out! The hotel are able to arrange excursions, and there is a free shuttle bus that runs in the mornings and afternoons to the Souks. We will definitely visit again

Positives: Beautiful grounds with gorgeous flowers and so well kept Lovely big pools Gorgeous large family suite Free shuttle to Marrakech The people. What can I say about the people! They make this hotel so very special! Everyone from reception staff to entertainment team cant do enough for you. Sara, Loco and Speed are real life angels with children and they are all so welcoming. We did a fab trip into the Atlas Mountains which was lovely to see and not too far! Sunbeds were plentiful and comfy Short airport transfers Lovely welcome drink Negatives: Food- one night was stuffed spleen or beef liver. It would be made so much better if they offered simple food like chicken. We have never struggled with hotel food before but we caved on the last night and got a burger king! Pool tiles really need replacing Cocktails are limited and all pre-made juices. Saying that we always found something and the iced coffees were nice Never a clean fork at meal times The food really is the only reason i'd consider not returning, everything else could definitely be looked past!
