I’m writing this as we’re still here because I don’t want to forget anything. Forgive me for the detailed review but it is important because so many people have written devise reviews, I feel it necessary to give you a full and balanced opinion (others are available but hey mine is right! 🤣) Location Perfect. Out of town, but close enough to visit & free shuttle bus from the hotel. Bedrooms Possibly the most comfortable bed I’ve EVER slept in and I’ve travelled a lot. Pay the extra and get the executive room. Spacious, quiet and good part of the hotel. Food Ok so this is where I can see people get “mixed”. If you like to try new foods, eat international dishes and taste local cuisine, then pack your elasticated trousers because you’re going to need them! The food is wonderful, diverse, fresh and delicious… I don’t eat puddings but let me tell you I’ve had one every day!! Breakfast fresh and plentiful Lunch so much to choose from Dinner excellent menu, if that’s not enough there’s mid morning, afternoon and evening snacks! Drinks I love the fact the bars are limited to wine, beer, and a couple of cocktails. People aren’t “lashed up” morning noon and night which makes for a much nicer atmosphere. If you want to get “on it” book elsewhere. The wines are nice local wines so don’t be put off by other reviews. But for me the absolute outstanding difference of this hotel to any other I’ve ever been in is WATER - there are bottles and bottle and bottles available… which is a must in the heat. Entertainment Now this is where I get it could get divisive also. There are 2 pools. 1 quiet, one livelier. The animation team provide activities from 10am to 10pm exercise, games, dancing, bingo, darts. They encourage you to join in but aren’t pushy. The music is upbeat in the morning and afternoon but quiet in between 1-4pm to allow for the all important post lunch snooze! If you don’t like participating and having “group” fun then this bit would probably annoy you - but my advice either book elsewhere or get over your shyness and join in!! Staff Never ever have I seen a staff client ratio like this. I’ve no idea how many staff there is, but it must run into the hundred+. All of them professional and a credit to the management. Overall The atmosphere is like a beach party but without the idiots and chavs and morons one normally encounters. It’s fun, relaxing, upbeat, chilled and lovely all at once. The age range is 17-70 and everyone gets on. If this is your first time to Marrakech you will do well to beat this as a taster. We loved it! Thank you with much appreciation room 2537 🥰 Ps! The atmosphere was really good, activities were fun , food was good, the staff was really friendly and lovely and brought the vibes. The bathroom design o old be much better. But overall it was a lovely experience. Good value for money
