We stayed at Savoy last week and I couldn't fault it, on arrival we where welcomed with Moroccon tea, all of the Staff where great and it was my birthday so they even decorated our room with rose petals etc without even asking which was a pleasant surprise. People have mentioned about the construction work, but honestly it doesn't bother you at all, on the outside we where wondering what we have booked at first, but once you get into the hotel it's beautiful and you wouldn't even notice the works going on. Around the pool area you can hear slight noise, but nothing that would put you off coming. The pool even has music playing of an afternoon which blanks the noise out. I loved the hotel, the pool area was great, although the water was cold as people have mentioned we still went in, it is March... The breakfast, and food overall was lovely and freshly made and the cocktails where lovely, the waiter even brought it over to our beds for us. The bar area and restaurants where great to sit in as well. The rooms where spotless and spacious with a big shower, and there are yellow taxis outside the hotel waiting in case you need it. A taxi to the Medina was £8 there and back. We had a cloudy day one day so ended up using the indoor pool, there are 3 different pools but is a nice relax if you need something to do on a bad weather day. Overall we had a lovely few days here, and would recommend it for a nice break away!

Our recent 9-night stay at Savoy Le Grand Marrakech was, in many ways, a truly memorable and luxurious experience. We stayed in a beautifully appointed two-bedroom suite, arranged through our travel agent via multiple linked reservations. Despite the complexity of the booking, the hotel delivered a largely seamless and highly comfortable stay, underpinned by consistently warm and attentive service. From the moment of arrival, the tone was set by a team that clearly takes pride in hospitality. The property itself is elegant and spacious, offering a calm, refined atmosphere that makes it an ideal base for Marrakech. What truly distinguishes this hotel, however, is its people. Mr Sherriff (GM/Assistant GM) stood out as an exceptional presence—gracious, professional, and genuinely invested in the guest experience. Equally, Azedine and the wider team were outstanding, consistently going above and beyond to ensure we felt looked after throughout our stay. There was, however, a brief administrative issue relating to our booking. Midway through the stay, we were contacted regarding an apparent check-out discrepancy, despite our confirmed extended reservation. The matter was handled at reception by Nabel, who informed us that part of the booking had been cancelled. While I provided full documentation confirming our stay, and the issue was ultimately resolved—thanks in part to intervention between our travel agent and the hotel’s senior management—it did require some persistence. It is important to note that such matters can arise in even the finest hotels. However, what slightly detracted from the experience was the absence of a clear acknowledgement or apology at the point of resolution. In a hotel of this calibre, one anticipates not only efficient problem-solving, but also a degree of finesse and ownership in guest communication—something that would elevate the experience from excellent to truly exceptional. That said, this was a minor moment within an otherwise superb stay. Overall, Savoy Le Grand Marrakech delivers a high standard of comfort, elegance, and service. The warmth of the team, the quality of the accommodation, and the overall ambience make it a property I would gladly return to and confidently recommend to others seeking a refined Marrakech experience.

Good hotel clean and convenient location Wasn’t impressed so much with room was looking bare and the view was a street view with traffic and people walking around Cleaning staff fatima was good but had to keep asking for water as they were small bottles and we were only given 2 per couple per day and we need for tea coffee also. Also asked for comb and toothpaste as we didn’t bring thinking 5 star they should supply. When I asked the other cleaning lady she was reluctant and wasn t happy to give. Was surprised as most 5 star hotels always provide. Fridge wasn’t working and chocolates melted. Bit disappointed as was excited to stay at savoy but was ok. Reception area was beautiful. Although I feel we couldn’t explore hotel fully as Nonone told us where everything was and about different restaurants. Couldn’t go outside pool was too cold. And there was minimal entertainment in evenings. Breakfast was amazing.
