We are currently staying in the Presidential Suite, which is absolutely amazing. The size, facilities and overall space are incredible, while the balcony and breathtaking views really make the room feel special. The high ceilings add to the sense of grandeur and make the whole suite feel very luxurious. We ordered room service for lunch as the lunchtime restaurant is situated outside by the pool, and at certain times of the day it can simply be too hot to comfortably enjoy a meal. It would perhaps be beneficial to have some form of outdoor fans around the restaurant to make the area more comfortable. You can also order food directly to your sun loungers if you prefer, although we don't always choose to do this as it can attract wasps and ants. In the mornings, we usually head to breakfast between 8 and 9am, when the pool area is lovely and quiet. We tend to leave our belongings on the sun loungers while we have breakfast. One thing we have noticed is that there are limited loungers positioned on the tiled areas, with the majority situated on the grass, which we personally avoid. It may be worth considering raised wooden decking in that area, which would make the poolside more accessible while also providing additional usable space. Another point worth mentioning is the reserving of sun loungers. Of course, most of us understand putting a towel down in the morning to secure a lounger, particularly around a busy pool. However, we have noticed on several occasions that some guests reserve loungers early in the morning but don't actually arrive at the pool until after midday. This can be frustrating for guests who are actually by the pool throughout the morning and would have happily used those loungers. Perhaps some kind of regulation could be introduced whereby, if a lounger hasn't been used by a certain time, for example midday, the towels could be removed. This would make the pool area feel fairer for everyone. The pool staff are genuinely lovely and always happy to help when asked. Unlike some reviews we have read, we haven't had staff regularly approach us to ask whether we'd like fresh towels or drinks, although that would certainly be a nice additional touch. Having said that, this is only a very minor point. The staff are working incredibly hard in the heat and always greet you with a smile. Nothing ever seems too much trouble, and no request feels too big or too small. The front desk staff are extremely well-mannered and welcoming, as are all of the staff we have encountered. They provided us with everything we needed to know when we arrived, and there are golf buggies available to take you back and forth to your room if needed. We have particularly appreciated this service during the hotter parts of the day. The housekeeping team have also been fantastic, and we genuinely cannot fault them. Overall, we are having a wonderfully relaxed holiday, which is exactly what we wanted. Quiet surroundings, a relaxing atmosphere and delicious food have made this a very enjoyable stay. And finally, compliments to the chefs — the food has been absolutely delicious!

Exceptional stay at Fairmont Royal Palm Marrakech We had a truly wonderful stay at the Fairmont Royal Palm Marrakech. From the moment we arrived, the level of service was exceptional, and the entire team made us feel genuinely welcomed and looked after. A special mention must go to the concierge team, who were absolutely amazing. They were attentive, professional, warm and incredibly helpful throughout our stay. Nothing was ever too much trouble, and they went above and beyond to make our experience smooth, enjoyable and memorable. The hotel itself is beautiful, with stunning surroundings, a peaceful atmosphere and excellent facilities. The staff across the hotel were consistently kind and attentive, and we really appreciated the care and attention to detail. It was the kind of stay where you feel genuinely taken care of rather than simply being a guest. We travelled as a family, and the team made the experience especially enjoyable for us. Thank you to the entire Fairmont Royal Palm team, and particularly the wonderful concierge team, for making our stay so special. We would happily return and highly recommend this hotel.
