My stay at Barceló Tanger was absolutely wonderful from start to finish. The hotel is spotless, modern, and exceptionally well maintained. Every area, from the rooms to the common spaces, was impeccably clean, making our stay very comfortable. The breakfast buffet was outstanding, with an impressive variety of fresh and delicious options every morning. There was something for everyone, and the quality of the food exceeded our expectations. What truly made our stay memorable, however, was the exceptional staff. A special thank you to Mouhcine at the reception desk, who was welcoming, professional, and always eager to help with a smile. His outstanding customer service made us feel genuinely valued throughout our stay. I’d also like to recognize the waiters at the main-floor café bar. We watched the Morocco vs. Canada World Cup match there, and they created such a fantastic atmosphere. They were attentive, friendly, and highly professional despite the excitement and busy crowd. Their excellent service made the experience even more enjoyable. Finally, a big thank you to the gentleman working at the pool area. He was constantly making sure guests had fresh, clean towels and checking that everyone was comfortable. His dedication and attention to detail did not go unnoticed. The combination of outstanding cleanliness, delicious food, and truly exceptional hospitality made this one of the best hotel experiences I’ve had. I would gladly stay at Barceló Tanger again and highly recommend it to anyone visiting Tangier. Five stars!

“Family stay in Barcelo”

Hotel Barcelo was such a lovely hotel to stay in. The location, the food, the staff, and overall experience was 10/10! I really liked that there were 2 swimming pools. Main one on ground floor, smaller one on the top floor. I would definitely stay here again.

We stayed at the Barcelo Hotel for 10 days and were happy with our stay overall. The reception staff and the security guards outside were always friendly, welcoming, and helpful. We were able to communicate well with them in both English and Arabic, and they always did their best to assist us. The breakfast buffet has a huge selection, and you will definitely find something you like. The ingredients were fresh, there was plenty of seating, and the dining area offered lovely views. The tables were beautifully set. The pool area is also great, with plenty of sunbeds and clean towels available every day. The only downside was that there could have been more functional umbrellas for shade. However, we had a very disappointing experience with the service at the pool bar. We ordered food and drinks, but only received the drinks. When we inquired about the food, the bartender told us there was an issue with the kitchen. This made us wonder why they accepted our payment in the first place instead of just telling us they couldn't take food orders at that moment. Since we were heading back to our room, we asked if the food could be delivered upstairs, but it never arrived. We informed the reception about this in the evening on our way out, and they promised to look into it. I requested a refund, but we received no further information, and we ultimately never got our food or our money back. The rooms were always clean and tidy when we returned after a day out, and we appreciated the extra amenities such as toothpaste, toothbrushes, and razors. The housekeeping staff were always kind and did an excellent job. The only area for improvement regarding the rooms is that the "Do Not Disturb" sign didn't always seem to be respected, as we were disturbed several times while resting. There was also one occasion when our towels were collected but not replaced until late in the evening, and we had to call reception to request new ones. As for the indoor bar, we paid 70 MAD for bottled water and 60 MAD for an iced coffee, which didn't meet our expectations. We would recommend buying drinks and snacks outside the hotel instead as you have a mini refrigerator in the room. Overall, we were satisfied with our stay. Considering the price we paid for 10 days, the location, and the excellent breakfast, this hotel offered great value for money. I recommend it if you're looking for a clean and well located hotel in Tangier. ☀️
