Nice staff and good location. Room and rates are reasonable. City centre.You can do any things to do for tourists(foods,transportation,people's life,etc:) Breakfast is amazing and F. O Manager Ko Aung Bo,he explain and guide all about of around Mandalay trips. ###Great

I stayed for five nights earlier this year. I was happy with my stay. AC and wifi worked. The breakfast staff was very friendly, they remembered my name each morning. Location was good. I remember they booked me a taxi to the airport on my last day for a price that sounded a little higher than It should be. Overall I am satisfied.

“Lovely staff, good location”

Staff goes out of their way to assist, whether it’s the welcome towel and drink, opening the door, providing free bikes, saying hello every time, or booking a taxi or tour for you. Staff goes out of their way to assist, whether it’s the welcome towel and drink, opening the door, providing free bikes, saying hello every time, or booking a taxi or tour for you. My first room was smallish but adequate and a bit smoky...turns out someone next door was smoking in the room....which they then moved me to another...bigger, lovely. Breakfast was fabulous with many options...and they were so kind to explain some of the Myanmar specialties. Opted not to ride the bikes after walking around...traffic not as bad as other cities, but? Would stay here again...

“Good budget option but don't let them book your onward transportation”

My lovely wife and I spent four nights at this hotel when visiting Mandalay and the surrounding area. Our deluxe room was spacious, comfortable and good value at around US$30 per night. If you're on a budget they also have smaller, cheaper rooms. The bed was comfy and the linen crisp & clean. There was plenty of very hot water. In fact, it was so hot you need to be careful not to burn yourself! The shower wasn't great but there was a bath tub which we used instead. It was nice to have a good soak for a change! The WiFi and air conditioning both worked well. The only disappointment was breakfast, which was pretty poor especially for vegetarians. But that isn't unusual in Myanmar. If you like street food there are some great places to eat near the hotel. Try the little barbecue place just around the corner or visit the nearby night market on 34th street between 75th and 77th. Two people can get a great meal at one of these places for less than K5,000. The hotel booked us a minibus to Kalaw. We were picked up at 730, spent an hour and a half driving around town picking up passengers & parcels before arriving at the bus station at 900. We then spent 30 minutes sitting there. After another 30 minutes or so inexplicably trawling around town we were finally on our way around 1000. Awful service and totally overpriced at K16,500 each. You can get a luxury bus for around the same price and this really wasn't a luxurious ride. I'm sure the local passengers paid a fraction of what we did. Finally, to add insult to injury, they decided to dump us unceremoniously by the roadside somewhere on the edge of town with no hope of finding any transport to our hotel 2km away. So annoying! In summary, I'd recommend staying at this hotel but would strongly suggest you organise onward transportation elsewhere.
