We stayed for two nights in December 2019. The comfort of the room, AC, TV, bathroom were all very adequate. The staff was attentive, and buffet breakfasts were delicious. We walked to the other end of Ngapali beach from the hotel, and stopped in at various hotels' restaurants/bars along the way, so much fun! One can easily bike (provided by hotel) into town or rent a scooter across the street and take it down the main street to the old Lighthouse. For dinner, I would recommend eating at 3 Pots restaurant about a hundred meters from the hotel entrance. The pool area was being fitted with a walk-up bar while we were there, and the pool itself was very nice, although the water was a bit cool in December. We were able to get coffee and ice from the kitchen upon request. Wifi signal did not make it to our room but it was available in the lobby. Highly recommended if you are looking for a 3 star hotel.

“Nice, but much better places around.”

Nice enough, but not quite there. The pool is nice but only a few sun beds. The pool bar remains unfinished and loos terrible. No restaurant in the hotel, surprisingly as it’s quite large. Nice enough, but not quite there. The pool is nice but only a few sun beds. The pool bar remains unfinished and loos terrible. No restaurant in the hotel, surprisingly as it’s quite large. The beach is very rocky for swimming, but nice enough. We had a beach front room, it was nice, but very basic. Don’t rely on the WiFi as it was completely none existent while we were there for 3 days, and the tv is unwatchable. OK place, but wouldn’t visit again or recommend. Also no bar, so really just a bed and breakfast pace.

This hotel could be paradise but for a few minor negative things. The staff are a delight and always want to oblige. The setting and views from the hotel are just fantastic. The negatives (constructive criticism) are as follows 1. the pool and the surrounding area needs some tlc . I would suggest the pool needs attention everyday and the sun beds need cleaning every morning together with a quick sweep round the pool area. No pool towels were offered. 2. The restaurant area needs some attention it is difficult to eat breakfast surrounded by flies which are constantly landing on the food area, 3. The furniture in the reception area is tired and dated and could do with new covers on the furniture. 4. Quite often we were told there was no Ice for drinks which is astounding for a hotel. 5. There is no bar and the only alcoholic drinks they sell are beer and wine. The bar area is still been built but from previous reviews I think this had been the case for a year. The incompleted bar is in the pool area which again is not pleasant to the eye . Finally I have tried to give this constructive criticism to the management but feel some of it may have got lost in translation. As I have stated a lovely hotel in a beautiful setting with a few tweaks needed, If you are staying here please go to the 3 pots family run restaurant down the road ( I have reviewed this separately) Lastly to the hotel management in Yangon you have what could be the most fantastic hotel but you need to heed this constructive criticism if you wish to attract Western tourists.
