“Great Location for Shwedagon Pagoda”
My favorite choice in Yangon. Rooms might look a bit tired, but everything was very clean, including sheets, pillows and towels. “Excellent Hotel Choice ”
This hotel is an excellent choice when visiting Yangon. It’s centrally located, clean, secure and you won’t find a nicer staff. The food is good and they have a rooftop bar with great views of the Pagoda. I highly recommend staying here when visiting Yangon.

“Great location , super clean , quiet rooms , very friendly helpful staff”
I really liked the Merchant Art . The location is perfect , not only for visits of Shwedagon Pagoda . We also walked to Scot's Market for example .The breakfast on the roof terrace is the most beautiful start of a day in Yangon . “Breathtaking breakfast views, friendly staff!”
I was pleasantly surprised with this hotel, which I visited in December 2019. There is a complimentary fruit tray available, the breakfast venue (in the terrace) is absolutely amazing, and the staff is really friendly.

“Spotless room and friendly service”
Spotless room with everything you need, bathroom a bit basic. Located in a nice neighborhood, taxi takes you I 10 minutes to the centre. Nice rooftop bar to have a beer with a view on the pagoda, which is a 5 minute walk away. Staff are very friendly and helpful.
