“Excellent Hotel”
Nothing but high praise for the Novotel Cathedral Square. We only had one night here, due to some hastily rearranged plans due to the cyclone affecting the North island, I would have been happy to spend a week. “Happy to recommend this hotel”
Went with Road Scholar group. A great, walkable location. The room was clean and comfortable with a friendly team. They had a wonderful children’s area.

“Not so Welcoming Staff”
Location & restaurant deserves 5 star, rooms are spacious with good view. However the front office desk staff unfriendly and doesn't give you welcome attitude. Nice clean room with comfortable beds. Breakfasr buffet was varied and hot foods were well heated. Eggs to order available on request at the toaster station.
