My wife picked this spot. Excellent choice. You need to take a water taxi or mailboat to get there. Our trip was in November 2024 before the summer season and had the place to ourselves for one day. “Awesome family visit”
Beautiful location, awesome service and great food! Great fishing and kayaking as well. Staff are wonderful and could not do anything more to provide an amazing experience. Lovely rooms, excellent cleanliness and a fun atmosphere always!

“21st Celebration 3 day Event.”
Nathan an d Penny are just amazing. They hosted our son and a bunch of mates over 4 days (3 nights) and nothing was a problem. The food was just amazing, the service was great and I can say that everyone left 100% satisfied with their experience. Highly recommended.

“Amazing Stay but do your research on Transportation first!”
My Husband and I had an amazing stay at Te Rawa Lodge. The hosts were great and caught fish fresh for us. It was so relaxing and such a beautiful spot. “Beautiful location disappointing food”
Clean tidy. For one of the capital blue cod fisheries in NZ sad to be served frozen fish when it can probably be caught off the jetty fresh. And - More batter than fish. Part of Sunday Mail boat cruise which was excellent. Take your own lunch……….
