“SUNSET Gem”
Amazing little gem of a motel practically sitting in lake Taupo! Tucked in along the thermal lake walking path this place took us by surprise. “Beautiful views”
Well presented accommodation, right on the lake edge. Close to the hot water area. Nice balcony with wonderful lake and mountain views, great spa bath in the room, immaculately clean and great staff. What more could you ask for.

“Private, Best Lake Views, Thermal Pool and more…..”
Since finding this wee gem of a place we won’t stay anywhere else. Down a driveway away from the road noise, lake front views, spectacular sunsets, fabulous thermal pool and super comfy bed.

“Loved our stay”
We absolutely loved our stay.Lovely staff.The hot pool was nice having a soak in the evening.Then another soak in the spa in the room and enjoying the beautiful view of the lake.The room was also warm.Will definitely stay again.

Very dated, and not welcoming in appearance. Basic amenities only, and not what was portrayed through the website. I wouldn’t return
