“Best lodging experience in New Zealand”
Wonderful place to rest and recoup. Owner Bede was the best host ever! Hot pools were worth the stay alone. Very peaceful location with some great views and wildlife. Rooms were the brightest and most welcoming place we have stayed in for quite some time. We could not say enough good things ab… more

“Super place to stay.”
This was a great stay. We rented a holiday rental close by and this was by far cheaper, cleaner and nicer. Close to the hotsprings but that doesn't matter because this place has its own private heated pools. Everything in the room was spotless. Beds were comfortable and it had everything we needed.… more

“Healing Mineral private pools with Rural outlook....the BEST!”
A++++++ This is such an awesome place....I have Rhumatoid Arthritis and the Takannau Mineral water is some of the best in New Zealand...easy to access private pools with a rural outlook. Comfortable bed, lovely host, clean and well equiped, quite stay.....we will be back....Thank you

“Quite & Comfortable Motel --easy drive to Tongariro Shuttle Parking Lot”
This is a cute and affordable motel up the road from Turangi. Our booking consisted of 3 rooms (plus the bathroom)- a main area with the kitchenette, kitchen table and a single bed, a tv room with a couch, a main bedroom, and the bathroom.
