“Our upgrade to a spa suite was a highlight of the day.”
We were grateful to receive the upgrade because of our Accor status. We had a separate lounge room and a separate bedroom. The room looked out onto the parkland and the bed was extremely comfortable. “No free access to natural hot pools”
Hotel is fine at reasonable price. But as many people have written the rooms are a bit tired and worn. They do have double doors opening to your private balcony so you can get fresh air. Many reviews mention free access to the hot pools across the road (Wairakei Terraces) but this is NOT provided.… more

“Great place to stay with friends for the weekend”
Great facilities although the decor was a bit tired, the bed was very comfortable. Shower was great and facilities clean. Loved the pools and tennis court. Great proximity to central Taupo.
