“Old But Good”
Stayed overnight on our round trip through New Zealand. The motor inn is outdated. We had a room in one of the cabins located around the inn. “Right spot at the right time.”
Door signs were confusing. Many signs were old and had not been taken down. Reception was not open downstairs. Had to call the number on door, only to find the reception was open up stairs. Restaurant not open this visit, but OK choices nearby at Waitomo Village 7 mins and two nearby towns 15 mins.… more

“Worth to select”
To be a motor Hotel just on the side of the road it present extremely high hospitality, nice rooms and very good food. Food well done and tasty wine and beer reasonable for the restaurant. Strongly recommend place for a stay if you plan to visit the nearby caves.

“Conventient location, but not very restfull”
We chose the Caves as it was convenient to the Ruakuri caves and walking trail. It was a standard motel room, clean sheets and room, just not the most comfortable sleep. The mattress had seen better days and with no ceiling fan or airconditioning, you need to open a window if you want ventilation. … more
