“Amazing place, authentic but very welcoming”
On arrival we were greeted by the lovely Jilly, there was another lovely lady there too, who helped with check in on the computer, Maia? wow such a bubbly friendly ladies.. we were given all the information for parking and breakfast etc. She told us about the restaurant etc. We were given our key… more

“Just loved it.”
We've stayed here before. The staff we met on Friday evening were just terrific, friendly without being phoney, and knowledgeable without being pompous. The room was comfortable and warm and breakfast was great. We'll be back.

“A great stay in an iconic Wanganui hotel”
The Rutland Arms is an iconic hotel built in the 1840’s. We have stayed there three times. As expected the hotel is starting to show its age.
