“Spa bath, great location and nice cafe all in one place”
Great location, just a few mins walk from the main town and a quick drive to Kmart. Got the spa deluxe room which was excellent, best way to treat my partner for her bday.

“Great motel in a good location for town and sea”
My room was spacious, clean and comfortable. Breakfast not included but facilities were great to store and prepare your own or to cook dinner etc. There is a cafe onsite for breakfast & lunch. “Great location Awa Motel Whakatane”
Wonderful location right over the road from the Whakatane Wharf on the river bank. Spacious clean fascilities, plenty of space for luggage and bits and pieces. Onsite cafe excellent, also jumpingoff point for Whale Island.. Great river path right up to the No2 highway bridge.. We will be back!!
