This is a secluded luxury property located off the main road consisting of a number of semi-detached villas overlooking the vineyard. It is expensive and prices change depending on the period. We stayed for two nights just before Xmas. The décor is high end with an excellent bed, sofa, small bar area and bathroom facilities and amenities. The bathroom is very spacious relative to the size of the room itself. There is a private porch outside which faces the vineyard. We enjoyed the birdsong and watching the rabbits run around the vineyard. The only small negative on the room was the bedroom area being on a different level to the lounge area and having an odd sliding door which doubled as a wardrobe door. Due to the design we had to put one of our suitcases in the lounge instead of the bedroom. The room rate included breakfast and a wine tasting session which was fun and included an interesting Q&A session. The restaurant is located in the main building and we found the service to be professional and attentive. The food at breakfast and dinner was excellent quality and we felt the evening menu offered good value for money compared to other restaurants. Given the quality of the property, we suggest the restaurant staff should be given uniforms to wear as they were all dressed differently (some more casually than others) which didn’t quite give the feel the property is aiming for. We hired e-bikes from the property (for an additional fee) and cycled into Queenstown which was fun. The cycle path going the opposite direction to Cromwell is still a work in progress and ended abruptly after approximately 5 km causing us to turn around. We tried cycling on the road but Kiwi drivers like cyclists to feel the breeze so decided against it! This was the best (and most expensive) property we stayed at in our 3 weeks in NZ. It is at the higher price point but we enjoyed a very comfortable relaxing 2 days there.

From the moment we checked in the staff were fantastic. The spa treatment exceptionally good, best I’ve ever had. Villas beautiful and surrounds tranquil. Food amazing.

Absolute luxury . Highly recommend the restaurant/ Bar. Everything you need is on hand . Much nicer staying out of the craziness of Queenstown . Absolute luxury . Highly recommend the restaurant/ Bar. Everything you need is on hand . Much nicer staying out of the craziness of Queenstown . Was very happy with the service until I got home when I found out I had been charged for an umbrella??? $40!! It never rained whilst I was there and whilst i did read there was one supposedly in my room I never seen one ! Very very disappointed. I find it very suspicious as to why they charged me for this 7 hours after check out! So all I can say is watch your bank account after you leave .
