Stayed at this place just after Easter weekend. Cluster of apartments with lovely views of Lake. Very modern way of booking in/out. Never seen any real person but instead got a code to let ourselves in once everything was approved. The room itself had a small kitchenette and bathroom. Nice feel about the room with thick carpets. Comfortable beds. Not too far from airport and Frankton shopping centre. Nice sitting on balcony watching activity on Lake and planes coming into the airport. Main road can be very busy to get onto. Better to get uber taxi to Queenstown as parking are very scarce. Being on the outskirts of Queenstown made the place affordable unlike places right in town.

“Great view but let down by lazy maintenance”

We stayed here for 5 nights in September in unit 12 and friends stayed in 14a. Coffee table so unstable it was a liability, curtains hanging off rail, both drawers on tv console broken, 3 lights with blown lightbulbs. If you are staying here, check if your unit is on the lower level as the air conditioning units are located right outside the bedroom window and if they are on the noise can be heard all thru the unit . The air conditioning unit for the above apartment is also outside the lower unit so if they have their a/c on there is double the noise. Unit 14a had a few issues - the blind in the bedroom was missing the wand to open/close so you had to stand on a chair to adjust every time. The shelf in the fridge door was faulty and couldn’t be used to store drinks etc upright . Units are in a good location and view is great but lazy maintenance and cleaning lets them down .

Luckily prior to booking I had read on Tripadvisor about the access problems and made sure I obtained the key code well in advance. We contacted them to double check the key code hadn't changed just before we arrived (this has happened to us in the past), but they only replied to us a week after we left Queenstown! Maybe it was just us, but we still had difficulty getting into the apartment, there were several doors but the key didn't fit any of them, we then realised we had to enter the garage first where there was an internal door. We had a 2 bedroom apartment, and the actual layout was brilliant, 2 big bedrooms, one with an ensuite and large balcony overlooking the lake and mountains and another separate bathroom on the first floor. On the second floor was a huge living / dining / kitchen area, with another big balcony with views over the lake. But the apartment needed a lot of TLC - the patio doors wouldn't lock, the window blinds didn't close properly, the tap over the kitchen sink leaked, meaning there was a constant puddle of water on the work top. All fairly minor issues, but simply rectified. Such a shame as the views are fantastic.
