“okay for a night”

We had a corner room facing the street which was small but functional with lots of light. Totally overpriced but then Queenstown seems totally overpriced. They have a nice buffet breakfast. The location was good as could walk to town center, although uphill on the return.

I stayed here for three nights before I moved to the Scenic Suites across the street for one night (see that review. As usual, I will list the pros and cons. PROS: 1. Friendly employees at the front desk. 2. Fantastic breakfast, severla hot dishes and pletny of food. 3 Great location 3/10 of mile from main drag, there is a hill but it is manageable and their is a bus right across from the hotel. 4. Laundry facility with free soap. 5. Beautiful ahd spacious lobby. 6. Easy local bus from airport, stops right across the street CONS: 1. Very small room. I do have Platinum Status which didn't help witht he room though I got a 1 pm checkout. 2. Yes, Queenstown is expensive. I paid $1781 NZ for three nights. 3. Small, inadequate workout room. Some free wights and low end cardio equipment. No remote for TV and no towels except for the sauna. Would I stay here again. After staying at Scenic Suites, probably not. Cheers!! Marius

“Very pleasant stay”

Stayed with my daughter in twin bedded room, very nice room, clean, bathroom had a nice shower with shampoo, soaps etc. Breakfast in the morning was great had everything you would need in this type of hotel. My daughter was very pleased with the gym, however I got my workout daily by walking up and down the hill to the hotel 😂, it even had a laundry room that was very reasonable and useful if you got muddy or wet. The beds and pillows were great very very comfortable, all in all would certainly say we had a 4 star experience, and would recommend.

I have mixed feelings about this hotel. The staff were very friendly, the breakfast was good and it is pretty close to town. The hotel is fairly new and clean. However I paid for a room with a view. What I got was bush and a view of the street. To be fair, if I looked up over the street view i could see the gondala. But since my room faced the footpath, if I had the curtains drawn everyone walking past could see in. The room was fairly small, but efficiently laid out. The room also had the weird swing door that acted as the shower door and bath room door (choose one, but you can't have both). It was OK as it was just me. I think there are better choices for $600 per night, even in Queenstown (plus $25 parking, cause you won't get a street park anywhere close by).
