“Loved it. Can't fault it”
Gore was a stopover place for us between Duendin and Te Anau. The motel was easy to find just off the highway. We were greeted warmly and made to feel welcome. Our room was modern and very spacious. We just arrived into Gore and the T.I. office found the room for us. Very happy with it. Had everything we needed, was nice and large and clean and warm with a comfortable bed. “Roomy unit with seprate kitchen”
We stayed here for one night but liked it so much we came back again on our way home. The units are very spacious with comfy beds and armchairs. “Simple but fine.”
The Charlton is very basic but absolutely serves its purpose. A little outside of town, which isn’t really a problem with a car or good weather if you don’t mind a bit of a walk.
