“A Good Experience”
Stayed one night en route to Franz Josef. Greymouth is a pretty quiet place which has suffered a degree of economic depression.But the breakwater is a short drive from the hotel and you can enjoy watching the waves crash into the rocks. “Nice room but under staffed restaurant!”
The rooms are great … remolded and clean. The exterior needs serious work… it is from the 60’s and shows it. I almost drove away but upon entering it was clear the interior was fine.
