We really enjoyed our stay at the N°13. Three nights in a superior room facing onto the street was a comfortable and pleasant stay. The weather was excellent so we made good use of the room balcony and had no need for room a/c. The step-in shower was excellent and there was plenty of hot water and a good coffee machine. The rooms have a mini fridge too . Rooms were cleaned each morning although you do have to request this before 10pm the night before. The breakfast was very good and ample, good quality products and plenty of space to eat. I would thoroughly recommend this well-located hotel!

“More negatives than positives”

This was a strange one because there were some good positive things about the hotel but also a lot of just poor, strange and misinformed things also. Starting with the good. The staff was very pleasant and were always willing to help. We arrived very early as we had disembarked a cruise early morning however our room was ready when we arrived at 10am so we were able to drop our cases and go out for the day. The location of the hotel is perfect. You can walk to the harbour and all the parts of the town in minutes. Now the not so good. The hotel wasn’t what we expected. At least one of the photos on Trip advisor by the hotel isn’t the hotel no idea where it is, also one of the shows the front and a sign saying it’s part of the Clarion group. That’s now gone from the front. The hotel itself is dated and the rooms show that, safe didn’t work, there were 3 hangers in a tiny wardrobe. The air conditioning didn’t work in the room so the only alternative was to leave the windows open on to the main square which was noisy. The rooms weren’t serviced so you make your own beds and call if you want something specific changed or cleaned. Breakfast was served in the basement, with seating also available on ground floor. The breakfast was ok, but things such as the eggs were like concrete. All in all this wasn’t what we expected and not what I would say is a 4*, somewhere between 2-3* and definitely not what we would expect for over £200 per night.
