Being just outside the village of Geiranger on its own means this hotel's location is even more tranquil that those of the other hotels there.
The hotel consists of newly built main building and a collection of smaller log cabins. The hotel occupies the main building which is of wooden construction resembling a chalet style ski resort hotel. The hotel is actually built into the the hill coming up from the Fjord, entrance to the hotel is actually on the 6th floor and then you take the elevator down to the reception. .The Grande Fjord hotel enjoys a spectacular location on the banks of the geirnagerfjord.
Located on the top floor it is an informal quiet restaurant.

“Exceptional service and great food”
Fantastic experience from start to finish. The food was delicious, fresh, and beautifully presented, and the service was exceptional; friendly, attentive, and welcoming throughout, a special shout out to Aleksandra, a true credit to the hotel. Highly recommend and would definitely return!

“Gorgeous views”
Fantastic views from a hotel one mile from the madness that is Geiranger when the cruise ships arrive. “Highly recommend”
Really enjoyed our stay, room on 6th floor with great views of fjord. Room and bathroom although on the small side was functional. Dyson fan/heater helps keeps temperature in the room comfortable. “Enjoyable Experience”
