Excellent location in the centre of Oslo. Clean and tidy rooms. Good black out curtains. Shower could be more powerful. Air conditioning a bit noisy. We were on the second floor and could hear quite a racket from, I think, a nearby nightclub on Saturday night so the double glazing could probably be thicker. The gym is decent. And the absolute winner is the breakfast: great selection of food, great coffee and all very tasty. Shame the toaster is rubbish.

Booked a three-night stay at the Scandic Victoria Oslo by the end of June, got a good deal for only around 4000 krona including for those three nights, where the normal pricing was absolutely insane... up to 10000 krona for three nights is NOT good value though. Booked a three-night stay at the Scandic Victoria Oslo by the end of June, got a good deal for only around 4000 krona including for those three nights, where the normal pricing was absolutely insane... up to 10000 krona for three nights is NOT good value though. For the price I paid I am satisfied. Arrived in the evening, check-in agent was relatively polite. Room was in 4th floor, clean and had a view to the breakfast room where to my surprise I found the same agent that just checked me in in the restaurant table, scrolling at her phone. I mean, they have a break room, right? The room was spacious, with minimal Nordic-style decorations with no frills. For example a safe could not be found, maybe they trust Norway's safety... or save a quick buck, I don't know. No noise problems though, don't know whether the hotel was empty or whether the noise insulation was that good. The bathroom was a bit dated, but not too much and it too did its job perfectly with no issues. The breakfast was also good. The selection was wider than in Scandic hotels in Finland, in my opinion, all the basics was there, but also a lot of Norwegian specialties, including salmon and other seafoods. The location of the hotel is very good. I did not need to take public transport or a taxi in Oslo at all other than coming from the airport, as all the major tourist attractions were within a walking distance of this hotel. The atmosphere in the lobby, restaurant and the hallways was very calming, and that was something I liked. The restaurant only served breakfast, for lunch and dinner you need to leave the hotel premises. There was a small shop and bar in the reception, and a gym was also there. Overall, it does its job. Do not expect anything fancy. If you are tried to scam more than 2000 krona per night in a standard room in this place, stay away. Otherwise, an okay deal in an expensive city that Oslo is.
