“A pleasant surprise - more than just a motel”
This was just a one night stop, between more illustrious places, but was very nice and a pleasant surprise. Classier than a motel. It was clean, a nice room, a good evening meal (local dish), decent breakfast and friendly staff. The decor was nicer than anticipated too. It serves the local business… more

“Overpriced but ok.”
This hotel is nothing exceptional. The rooms are below average, so is the breakfast. There is no elevator. However, the staff is nice and serviceminded. The prices are quite steep, considering the auality of the place. Årdalstangen is basically an industrial place, but also a gateway to some beaut… more

“Good food”
The hotel is located in an old industrial town, but at the water's edge with a very good view out the fjord. The rooms are clean, but basic. The restaurant had very good food, and the service was good.
