“Excellent”
Wonderfully spacious room with sofa, two lounge chairs and a dining table. Washroom has heated floors. View is spectacular when there are no cruise ships in port. Breakfast was very good but crowded at peak times.

This historic hotel is very conveniently located next to Flam train station and the Fjord port where boats depart for the fjord cruise tours and Bergen. Please please please update the hotel, it’s like stepping back into the 70’s That said, the location is perfect and the views are incredible, rooms are clean. “Disappointing hotel for a 4 star”
The room was warm and the bed comfortable but power points close to the floor, poor lighting in the bathroom and unfriendly staff. Late checkout charges were unnecessary and herbal tea selections very limited. Breakfast staff were outstanding as was the breakfast spread.
