“Great way to experience Sognefjord!”
We originally planned to travel from Oslo to Bergen and take a fjord cruise while there. We decided to take the train to Flam and then ferry to Leikanger and spend a night on Sognefjord. “Quaint Hotel in Smaller Locale”
As part of a bus tour I cannot speak to the check-in process or the value, however this is a small, quaint hotel in a small village on the Sognefjord. “Older hotel, but very good”
This is an older hotel, but some aspects were really good. The bed was comfy, the staff extra nice - gorgeous food at dinner. Breakfast so so. Our room had a balcony and we could view the fjord and admire the mountains from there. It is a good hotel, just old.

“Great location and food, but very outdated and run down.”
This property is beautifully located fjordside, but is run down and outdated. They’re going for rustic/historic lodge vibes but it’s just badly in need of repair and some updates. The food is delicious and the detached sauna is great. It does not have a “spa” as advertised.
