Location: This hotel is situated in the village of Sogndal by the famous Sognefjord, in the middle of the regional centre. It is on Almenningen Square, near the square's fountain and is a perfect base for business travellers visiting companies and organisations in the Sogn region. Guests will find the nearest nightspots, links to the public transport networks, and shops just a couple of minutes' drive away and it is 8 minutes by car to Eidet beach. Sogndal ski centre is just a 15-minute drive away and it is 45 minutes by car to the Urnes Stavkyrkje wooden church, an hour to Jostedalsbreen, 70 minutes to Borgung Stavkyrkje church and one and a half hours to Flamsbana. Bergen is 4 hours' drive.

“Highly recommendable!”
5 points from me! Very special, vintage design, but everything there what you need. Fridge in the room, plenty of wallsockets near the bed for charging everything, a little bar at the reception, very clean, comfortable bed! And an excellent breakfast with a Franke Coffee machine!

“Great Fjord views”
Hotel is at a very nice location along Sogndal Fjords. Nice views from hotel and easy to walk around the area to enjoy even more views. Breakfast was very nice with lots many options. Viking cruise to see Fjord is just 3 mins walk.

Was just order fast for have a place after hiking trip in the area. But the stay was good and breakfast was also great. Only thing to remark was parking in this small city, you have to pay. Great location just next to the water. Super efficient check in and check out. Loved the big bed, most beds in Norway seem to be queen size, this one was king size.
