This hotel is beyond excellent. From the friendly welcoming staff to the superb rooms, I can't share enough positivity about this hotel. The service and food are top class. Parking is outside the door and breakfast is super.

The hotel is located in the center and at the pier. The beds, pillows and comforter was very comfortable and the room clean. The breakfast varied and helpful staff. “Nice stay for 1 night”
Spacious room. Half-board was very convenient and food was great. Staff were very service oriented. If your room isn’t facing the water, then you are staring at a rock wall, so no views what so ever. “Lovely home away from home in Skien”
Lovely calm hotel by the Canal in Skien, Ibsen's home town. The hotel has big rooms, warm bathrooms, free supper and afternoon snack included. The price is very good, even in summer season and very cheap in winter. Norway is expensive, but this place goes a long way of giving credit for your money.… more
