“a nice place to stay”
I was at this hotel for a flying visit to Asuncion. I was given an early check in which was very helpful. The room as very big and I had a nice balcony. It rained while I was there so I didn't use the pool, it looked nice though.

“Great Service and location”
I stayed in the Excelsior Hotel between Oct 22 and Nov 3 of 2019 with my wife on a vacation trip. “No thanks. Stuck in 1980. Renovation urgently needed!”
Very , very old and in dire need of a complete renovation . This hotel is like a parallel universe stuck in 1982 when it opened. I Liked the big room and comfortable beds. “Nothing special”
The hotel is very far from the modern life of Asuncion, it was not a good option. it is rated as 5 stars hotel but I will rate it as 4 stars. The hotel is very old and consumed a lot . people in the reception are friendly. Nothing special in Paraguay
