Highly recommended!!! A great and beautiful place to stay. We relaxed and enjoyed ourselves in this amazing, isolated location, with all the accommodations we needed. This resort island has many unique residents, and you must be a nature and animal lover. Every staff member at the front desk, the bar lounge, and the dining area is very courteous and friendly. We enjoyed every sunset from our sunset villa cabana. The room was clean and spacious. Every afternoon, the staff visited us with a complimentary snack, a beautiful gesture!! :-) They have two great pool areas, and both are very relaxing for spending the whole day just sunbathing. The spa service was great and quite relaxing. There were only two restaurants, but both offered familiar daily dishes and exquisite local Philippine dishes, all of which were very delicious. The Puto Bumbong was spectacular! We went to Eagle Point, a short, walkable trail, and when we reached the top of the island, it was breathtaking!!! The hotel offers many activities and excursions. We went to the Coron Palawan Snorkeling & Island Hopping Tour that included Kayaking, swimming at Maquinit Hot Spring, Kayangan Lake, and a picnic lunch on a bungalow. We have a blast moments, enjoyable and breathtaking nature scenarios - very unforgettable.

Discovery Coron is incredibly relaxing and beautiful. I will definitely be coming back! Aside from the stunning views, the staff are exceptionally kind and welcoming. Special thanks to Sir Gerick and Ma'am Vince for being so accommodating and friendly. They are truly gems of this island! A huge thank you also to Sir Ian, who set up our dinner on the beach and served delicious food. He assisted us perfectly—his service deserves a 10/10 rating. Thank you also to Ms. Lheyanne for assisting us during check-in and check-out. She is always smiling, very pleasant, and makes every guest feel so welcome. My deepest gratitude goes to the entire team at Discovery Coron. Everyone is so kind and always greets guests with a smile. Special thanks to Kuya Elmer, Kuya Jojie, Sir Shaun, and Ma'am Elizabeth. “Beautiful, slightly older private island resort with a nice house reef and amazing staff”

The location is beautiful – a small private island with a nice house reef (this was one of our main selection criteria), so you can snorkel directly along the beach for many hours. The water temperature of around 30°C makes it even more attractive. We were picked up from the airport by bus and then taken to the island by a private boat. The trip was an attraction itself :) The staff are absolutely amazing. They greet you many times a day, from the reception staff to the gardeners, and everyone is very polite. The reaction time to any problems or requests is remarkable – usually within minutes. You can really experience nature at this resort, starting with the sounds of bats at night, and even komodo dragons walking around the island, which are quite an attraction. There are also pelicans hunting for the food in the restaurant literally eating from your hand, There are lots of natural sounds and many birds. You have plenty of privacy everywhere, and there are no problems finding sunbeds or space on the beach. The island is large enough for nice walks along the beach on the beautiful white sand, it is worthwhile taking a picture with the arriving catamarans especially at the sunset. Majority of rooms are a bit older so do not expect luxury there, but everything is functional. We were glad to stay in the pavilions. The beach bungalows have a great location, but they are also quite old, so in our opinion they are not worth the high price. However there is ongoing construction so there will be new luxury accommodations on the opposite site of the island. The restaurants are rather overpriced compared to the mainland, but the food quality is good and the staff are excellent. When travelling through Philippines I recommend visiting a resort like this first, this will offset some disappointments that you encounter when travelling inland later.
