Amun Ini is definitely in the top locations we’ve ever dove. The diving staff, led by Bigs Eggert is AMAZING. Bigs’ view is that a happy staff makes for happy divers. She takes care of them and it shows. They are exceptionally helpful and provide non-stop macro photo opts on every dive. Frog fish from juvenile clown to giant white, black and purple were seen. Ghost pipefish, Mandarin, Pigmy seahorses, eels, shrimp, anemone fish, wonderpus juvenile, algae octopus, and so many other fish I’ve never seen. Healthy soft coral in all colors, healthy hard coral in all kinds of textures. Truly an amazing experience! The guides are all amazingly enthusiastic about what they do. Dives at 8:30, 11, 2:30 and either a mandarin dive or night dive are offered. Our last day we were able to make a special 2 dive trip to see tons of seahorses and other white sand muck diving creatures. There is a dedicated photography room with chargers, dunk tanks split up by type, showers to rinse off with, dive shop, lounging chairs by the beach in and out of the shade, and a nice white sand beach that their boats take off of. The boats are mostly traditional double-outrigger boats, which are spacious and have bench seating for divers. BCDs with tanks are in the center lying down, and when it’s your turn, you get on a higher bench where they put your BCD and fins on for you before your giant stride off. You get back on by taking off your BCD and Fins and climbing the stairs up. Watermelon is offered, and they like you to drink water before you dive. Hot chocolate is offered as well for those colder folks with no body fat. Air and water are about 80 degrees F. Very comfortable! Special shout-out to Lito, our dedicated dive master. He was recruited by Bigs and she sponsored his diving certifications. He's been diving with her for 30 years and is still so enthusiastic for what he does. Serious constant macro spotting non-stop! All staff were wonderfully helpful, though and appreciated for their hard work. Charging facilities were spacious, dunk tank for cameras were available on land,. Lito knew the latin name for every critter he showed us! The resort, run by Federico Carmona, has spacious, comfortable, clean rooms with balconies overlooking the ocean. The restaurant has multiple food offerings that were all very good. We were not there long enough to try them all. Their mushroom dumplings and pizza were good for lighter in-between dives, and their grilled and fried fish tacos were wonderful. The Belgian chocolate waffle was great as a breakfast or dinner dessert along with Oreo ice cream. Their popcorn with Pecorino cheese and bacon was fantastic. There were multiple variations of Alcoholic and Non-alcoholicholic drinks and they always accommodated more variation requests. They didn’t offer an Oreo Shake but they made me one. Upon leaving, they arranged a tour for us before dropping us off at the TAG airport. We will be back. Bigs and Federico run a top notch operation!

This resort is pure paradise! I wish I could have stayed there longer. Particular thanks to Fred the owner who made my stay so special and looked after me my entire stay. All of the staff are amazing and so friendly and helpful. The food is superb, room was wonderful and the lovely sandy beach was very quiet and relaxing. I really cannot say there is even one thing I did not love.

Lovely unspoilt location ,beautiful sandy beach, with great snorkeling. Great sea views, spacious attractive rooms . Staff couldn’t be faulted, friendly and attentive , great food

“Unbelievably Healthy Coral Growth”

The coral here is the best I have seen in 20 years of diving the world! The owner told me that all the coral had been wiped out 6-7 years ago from a typhoon, which makes the amount of coral growth all that more astonishing! The coral here is the best I have seen in 20 years of diving the world! The owner told me that all the coral had been wiped out 6-7 years ago from a typhoon, which makes the amount of coral growth all that more astonishing! In addition to that they have many species you rarely see like ornate seahorses, juvenile frogfish, a long pipefish that looked like the head of a seahorse, pygmy seahorses, etc. I also saw very large turtles on every dive. I am going to bring my dive buddies back here!!! The rooms are very upscale, and the food is quite varied. I never heard another patron, and they were almost full the entire time of my stay. I just can't give a rave enough review of this place!!! Sorry didn't down load my photos yet.
