I am writing this on my final evening at Canberry. I am alone on a business trip. The standard room is small but it is more than I expected. The elevator requires your key card to access your room’s floor, room door and to provide power to your room. The room has no closet but there is a rack with clothes hangers. The bed is comfortable with a blanket to keep you warm and the small window type Carrier conditioner (0.6 or 0.75 hp) can get cold if the thermostat is turned all the way to coldest. Not putting the thermostat to coldest would have inadequate. The bathroom is also small. The door doesn’t open all the way and will hit the panel of the bathroom sink. I am sure that most everyone could fit in the doorway. The shower has the regular shower which you can detach from its holder or choose the rain shower head. The water seems to be sourced from deep well because it takes a while for soap to lather and double the usual amount of shampoo to lather. Housekeeping comes in daily to make up the room. The cable TV channels are adequate for news and entertainment. Charging your phones can be tricky if you don’t know or did not find the hidden sockets behind the bed. No swimming pools here in the hotel. The dining room is also small and can get easily full. The wi-fi is good but can get slow. I would have given this 5 stars had I not seen a small bug crawling around and then hide under the bed and a small flying bug which I caught and killed, both in the final evening. At any rate, this hotel is good for rest and sleep after a day’s work. Nothing much else. Overall, the hotel rate is quite reasonable and offers very good value for money. I have been here last April to have a staycation I was very happy, I checked in to a family room the room was big enough for our family and what we also like is just next to the hotel you could see a 7/11 so if your hungry you can just go out of the hotel and grab some food, also I was very amazed with the stuff they are very friendly and accommodating in my request. I would also like to thank Faith as well she treats my request very well. Thank you so much! i will surely come back and have my staycation. PS. Please provide parking space to your guest. All is well but parking space is very important on an establishment.

We went to Cebu for a few days and decided to stay here since the location is near almost everything that we need and the rate is cheaper compared to other hotels nearby. Here are my thoughts: 1. Originally, we booked a Deluxe Room (one queen bed and one single bed) via phone a week prior our arrival. The Receptionist told us that the room can hold three guests since they don't have a room with three beds. 2. When we arrived, I was surprised to see how small the room was. The beds can definitely fit three adults / persons but the room itself is quite cramped for three people with luggages. You can't even walk around the room without bumping to each other or bumping to the furniture. 3. I went to the Reception Area and requested if we can have three single beds instead. In my head, I imagined that with three single beds, we could have more space and navigate a little freely. 4. Arrived back the hotel around 8ish (after having dinner) and was disappointed that our room was not arranged how we requested several hours ago. 5. Went back to the Reception Area and explained what has transpired. It was a good thing that the staff there were polite that kept me from making a scene. 6. I explained (again) that the reason why we're requesting for three single beds because the size of the room doesn't suffice three adults. Receptionist apologized and ALSO agreed that the room was too tiny for us. I almost laughed because when we checked in, I explained to them that we were three guests. They even asked for a 500php fee for the additional person. Why didn't they tell us from the start that the room was not equipped to accommodate three guests? 7. I requested for a bigger room (Family Room) which only costs 100php more than our original room. Luckily, there was an available room the following day until we leave Cebu. 8. Family Room was definitely spacious. It has a one queen sized bed and a sofa bed. The room was adequately clean but there are some evidence of worn out furniture and old sheets (clean but minimal stains). Fortunately, the bathroom was clean and the towels were relatively new. 9. We requested to "Make Up Room" the next day since will be out the whole day that time. When we got back, again, felt really frustrated because the room was still unkempt and the trash weren't taken out. Needed to call the Reception Area again. 10. They provide free WiFi but they will just give you a piece of paper with the code. And the code is only good for one gadget for two days. If you have like five gadets, you need to ask five vouchers. Since we were at the 4th floor, for some reason, the internet gets disconnected from time to time. 11. They don't offer free water daily. I suggest that you stock up your room with water. 12. Aircon is old. It can cool the room partially because it's just a window type zircon which I think is just less than 1 horsepower. It's manual. 13. No trash bin inside the room. You need to go to that bathroom to throw your trash. Although we requested additional bin but we didn't get it until we checked out. Didn't bother to follow up anymore. HERE ARE THE PLUS POINTS: 1. Staff are nice and accommodating. 2. It has a parking area. 3. Near restaurants, malls, and other popular places in Cebu. 4. Room rate is affordable. 5. Comfortable bed. 6. Clean rooms. 7. Near a laundry area (same day laundry / DIY) 8. Near 7-11 Convenience store. Overall, I still recommend this hotel if you're: 1. Within the budget. 2. No plans of staying in the hotel room. 3. Patient with the hotel's shortcomings.

“1100 php”

Ok place if you need to stay in this locality. Basic facilities. They should provide a hot water kettle if they can't give tea or coffee cachets. I had to ask for hot jug which they would give at a cost but did not charge me. Wifi in few rooms is bad hence we had to change rooms. Ok at price .
