Booked 3 rooms for Christmas for the whole family. Check in was pretty easy and the room was excellent we have pool access in our room yet didn’t use myself, but the kids love it. Booked 3 rooms for Christmas for the whole family. Check in was pretty easy and the room was excellent we have pool access in our room yet didn’t use myself, but the kids love it. It is a kid’s friendly hotel, there’s a playroom, kids pool and kids can also go fishing – the fishing bait only cost 100 peso each and the kids had fun. The compound is huge with good security. They have complete amenities - pool, restaurant, gym area and beautiful ground. During our stay, they also have entertaining in the evening. The service int the restaurant was good although some of staff tare trainee so the service can be tricky (hit & miss). I would have given 5 for my review but found the service at restaurant quietly slow and several occasions I ended up clearing my own dirty plates and during our stay several times few items missing in the menu. Overall really enjoying our stay at this resort.

“Where Sleeping at Night can be a Nightmare”

Overall, the ground and hotel is well kept. Crew are helpful and courteous especially their restaurant at breakfast. Kudos to their patient and ever smiling staff to help you with the food. We booked for 4 nights under the previous management. We were told no parties after 10pm. Lo and behold… more

Overall, the ground and hotel is well kept. Crew are helpful and courteous especially their restaurant at breakfast. Kudos to their patient and ever smiling staff to help you with the food. We booked for 4 nights under the previous management. We were told no parties after 10pm. Lo and behold, the night before our even, a party (no, a concert) was extended up to 12am in their glass house venue a stone's throw away from our rooms. After a lot of probing, main desk guy finally confessed the party was granted up to 12am. But he had to lie first, initially saying up to 11 and finally saying 12. The unbearable noise was like that of a concert and Montebello advertises itself as a hotel where there is "restful stay"". Be wary of this hotel and double check the events; otherwise stay away

It was April 2016 when I came here for the first time. I don’t exactly remember now anymore what was the issue that we had during check-in/out that time. But what I do remember is that the several days of staying here wasn’t completely great. And despite the feeling of maybe this come back wont make anything extraordinary, I decided to give it another try. I like Montebello for several reasons. 1. the location is very convenient. Near the city yet you’ll get that exclusivity that you’ll expect from a “villa-type” hotel. 2. book at the right time and who’ll get a good deal which is good value for money. 3. the place is beautiful. The feel of nature is in here. However, aside from the fact that the rooms aren’t noise-free. I wish they improve certain areas of their service in order to compensate the flaws of the hotel. 1. Provide Great Customer Service. 2. Be Informative and attention to details towards what the guest may need. 3. Be attentive and actually pay attention to your guest. Like physically and literally. 4. Try providing EXTRA-MILE Service. 5. Engage a great conversation to the guests so you can check how was their stay so far. 6. Consistency of Quality Service. And well of course, tell to each and every guests to be conscious with their noise whenever they are in the hallway of the rooms or even inside of their room as the neighbor guests can hear it from the other side. And so on and on.... This place has a great potential. However it needs to check back and well brief their staffs to provide Great Customer Service.
