I cannot say enough wonderful things about Richmonde Hotel and their incredible staff. Our day started off quite miserably with a four-hour flight delay, which ultimately resulted in our original destination being changed to another island due to severe weather conditions. Thankfully, we ended up in Iloilo—a city I am familiar with and where I knew I could find a comfortable place to stay. Having stayed at Richmonde Hotel before, I immediately knew where I wanted to go. I called the hotel late that evening to explain our unexpected situation. I spoke with Ms. Maria Feliz, and from the very beginning, she was incredibly accommodating, understanding, and helpful. Despite it being late at night, she went above and beyond to make sure we would be taken care of. When we finally arrived, the check-in process was seamless and stress-free. To our surprise and delight, there was a bucket of ice-cold beer waiting for us in our room. We also had Jollibee delivered to our room. After such a long and exhausting day, this thoughtful welcome amenity was exactly what we needed. It was such a simple yet incredibly meaningful gesture that immediately made us feel welcomed and cared for. The following morning, the breakfast included with our stay was nothing short of a feast. There was an impressive variety of delicious food, and everything we tried was wonderful. Needless to say, we left breakfast with very full and very happy tummies! Even after check-out, the exceptional service continued. The concierge team, along with Ms. Feliz, went out of their way to assist us with transportation and make sure we were able to get to our next destination without any added stress. What could have been an incredibly frustrating and exhausting travel experience turned into a genuinely pleasant and memorable stay because of the kindness, attentiveness, and hospitality of the Richmonde team. By the time we left, the stressful events of the previous day were almost completely forgotten. We will absolutely remember this stay and look forward to coming back to Richmonde in the future.
